Gingersnap, you should start wearing your bracelet everyday! Mine are kind of heavy but they make me so happy. Tabitha, that's so nice that you'll have some local Pandora!

I want to share a Pandora story! My 10 year old daughter had to write an essay for school about something she didn't like doing but had to do. She chose to write a whole essay about being dragged to the Pandora store with me! She wrote how she and her sister were forced to spend hours there, regularly, and how torturous it was. She wrote how she hated when she heard me say,"I think I'll take this charm today, but can I just see one more tray of charms to be sure?" My daughter was really descriptive and I thought it was hilarious. She's lucky that this is the worst thing in her life, right? So I told my Pandora store about the essay and they wanted a copy of it. I gave it to them and they read it at a regional meeting. Then the store manager presented my daughter with a gift: the purple leather bracelet with the silver heart charm! They were sorry she hated Pandora so much! Now she wears her own bracelet!

Such a cute story!! It made me smile, I'm glad she was given a bracelet that's so nice of pandora! :)

I'm in a weird predicament. I've recentely started a new job where I can actually dress for work, wear the cute/professional clothes, shoes, and jewerly; previously, I've been in positions where I'm in a lab coat for 90% of the time with little to no jewelry and work shoes.

I'm holding off on wearing my Pandora bracelet....lol, I'm not used to wearing it except for weekends/special occasions. Is that weird? I want to wear it, but I'm afraid it may be too "BAM, look at my wrist."

I used to feel that way, but once you start you'll get used to it. Pandora is so popular now, it seems weird to me if someone doesn't have one on!;)

Edit: Last night I looked briefly at the pandora FB page and someone posted an ''Action Shot'' of them wearing their bracelet and waving a toilet brush at the toilet! Gross. I would never in a million years do that. I think it was just a joke though.

Wow! I have to tell my daughter that story, she'll get a kick out of it. Your daughter IS lucky, and a talented writer already! :D

Tabitha and Melanie, thank you for letting me know you enjoyed my story! I thought it was really nice of the store too. I took pictures of my daughter opening the bracelet, which they gift wrapped, in the store. Pandora doesn't seem to give much away either so I was really impressed!

Thank you Sydneygirl! My younger daughter wanted to write an essay too after this but it would have been overkill at that point!

Am I able to multiquote from my iPhone? It would make responding easier!

I wear mine at work and maybe a couple of the girls will notice, but we always check out each others outfits! I don't wear them at home - only if going out to work or after work.

Oh that is so cool!!! I always hated going to Bouclair (fabric store) with my mom when I was a kid.

I am very impressed with your daughter and the staff at your Pandora store!

Lol oh god that's bad, lol. I'll have to check that out later. I take mine off as soon as I get home, but I am notoriously klutzy. Last night I went to Ikea to replace a ceiling lamp that had broke. While carrying it in the house I dropped it! Then today I dropped another glass purchase! Gah! Needless to say I own a safety chain for my Pandora bracelets!

Me too! When I was a teenager, I dropped a beautiful cake my mother had made as I was putting it in the fridge:graucho:
A few weeks ago on a Sunday night, exhausted from doing housework all day, I smashed my favourite glass when I took it to the kitchen. I just wish I had decided to finish the contents first!!:graucho: So I take all my jewellery off at home too. My engagement ring would never have survived all these years otherwise.;)

Thank you for your sweet comments on my Pandora story!

I am also so clumsy lately! My husband took us out for a nice birthday dinner for our daughter's birthday and as we were leaving I elbowed him really hard on the top of his head! I am laughing silently as I'm writing this because he is next to me! I stood up while he was still sitting down and as I put my coat on my elbow came down full force on his head! I feel so bad!
