I love your bracelet! The Judith Ripka charms are so pretty and blend in v well with Pandora. I never heard of that brand before; do you know if it's available in the UK?
Thank you! She is a talented american designer that makes you feel like a princess whenever you wear her jewelry : ) . I don't know if she has in UK. Her sterling collection looks like platinum too. Check her out when you visit US : )

This is very, very lovely. Does it jingle nicely when you wear it?

Keep meaning to go to Bicester but life keeps getting in the way. Do they have quite a few gold charms and spacers?

Is it a 3-hour round trip from London? I notice the pic in your avatar.

Hi dinamit, it Isn't as noisy as you might think because I wear quite a tight bangle - not too jingly, just the occasional 'whoosh' as a group of spacers whizz round!

On this trip to Bicester I didn't check out the rest of the stock, it was very busy, but yes, there's usually quite a selection in gold including lovepod rings. They will answer the phone in quieter times so you can check before travelling

From East London it's a bit of a 'grand expedition' and I do go prepared with a tankful of petrol, phone fully charged, and emergency supplies (ie water and jelly babies!) in the car! 100 minutes each way if there's no traffic - but my worst journey was 5 hours there and 4 hours back......

Here's a fun little Ebay story. A few weeks back I posted here that I had bought some starburst clips off Ebay and had them authenticated at my local Pandora store.

So since things went so well, I decided to tempt fate by purchasing another charm off Ebay. I bought the two tone lucky clover. The seller had great feedback and so then the charms comes in the mail. Looking at it, I was disappointed that the gold part hardly showed at all. I held it next to some other 14k jewelry I have and it just didn't look right, even though it had the 925 Ale in the right spot.

So a day or so later, I'm browsing on Ebay and checked out my seller's feedback again. Someone had posted a negative comment: FAKE!

I was kinda happy they posted the negative feedback since it would save me an embarassing trip to the store to authenticate my charm. I immediately filed a complaint with Ebay and the seller responded by saying to return the charm for a full refund including shipping, which I did. I got my refund shortly thereafter.

Well yesterday I got an email from Ebay saying the listing I was interested in was no longer on Ebay. It was the listing for the lucky clover charm I had returned. They pulled all of that seller's listings and looks like she got kicked off Ebay.
I'm with you on the whole ebay thing - I just started with Pandora so I though that I'd save some money by shopping on ebay but out of 8 purchases only 3 were authentic. I hate that I had to keep dealing with ebay resolution center but all the sellers stopped responding once I called them out on their fakes. I am a pretty educated ebay seller/buyer and I do my research before I even consider working with any of these Pandora sellers - I did find a few reputable sellers who offer bargains( 20%-40% off). Mostly what I did notice is that if you are seeing the same charm being sold cheap from many different sellers chances are that the market is being flooded by fakes . Also if the same seller is selling all of their charms with a specific colored back round and then just keeps re-listing them over and over - that's a red flag. I saw the Lucky Clover Bead ending at $37.00-$79.00 so I figured that there is chance that fakes were being sold and now I checked completed listings and I see that its showing sales mostly in the $80 range so the fakes were removed but you get the idea - a bead trends at super low then its better to stay away.

I started working on making my bangle two tone and right now I am waiting for 5 two tone charms to come from three different sellers (long ebay history 10+ yrs and good feedback ~800 ) and I am hoping that they are all legit otherwise I am swearing ebay off completely.

Maybe we should start an ebay reputable Pandora sellers list?

I think that's a great idea. I"m going to try to find a seller I bought from before that sells authentic. It's so hard to tell who's a good seller, because even if their feedback is 100% that still doesn't guarantee authenticity since a lot of people don't have them authenticated once they receive it.

You posted some good information on what to look out for. I always wonder how does a seller get all these pandora charms to sell. In some cases, a jewelry store loses their Pandora contract and since Pandora won't take back their charms, the store tries to sell off what they have (we had a store that went through this here locally). Then there's the case of someone who may have some extra charms they're never going to wear or that maybe they got as gifts and aren't too crazy about them.

Then of course we have the ones like you mentioned who are probably obtaining fake charms from who knows where. What was really amazing to me is that the fake clover charm I had actually had the 925 Ale exactly where it should have been, so that's not even a guarantee that it's real.

Anyway, good luck with your purchases and I hope they're all authentic.

It is so true !!! I feel like all this 100% feedback is such a waste b/c most people can't tell a real one from a fake - the fakes have gotten really good lately especial on charms that have been around a long time. Lately I see a lot of "All aboard" & "Airplane" fakes on ebay and like you said the markings are all there but then you see those sellers have suspensions or negatives.

Luckily my local Pandora is not out of the way so its easier for me to stop by to get my charms authenticated, but it does get frustrating b/c I'm taking up the SA time and not buying anything so not the best option for all involved.

So far I like dealing with http://stores.ebay.com/Pandora-Dreams -they have their own website as well. They have reasonable prices and I had all the charms authenticated to be real so as far as I can tell they are safe to use.
