I absolutely adore mine:heart:
Oxy bracelet looks particularly good with gold charms/clips/safety chain.
Have read about the bracelet changing color back to dirty-ish silver but never seen the pictures.
Read somewhere in this thread that a forumer has had hers for 2 years and it still look good. Not sure if she wears it daily though. It all depends on your body chemistry, how you care for it and store it.
From what I gather, certain individuals' body chemistry tend to cause faster change on the charms be it silver or oxidised silver.
Sweating, water, perfume and certain chemicals can also cause charms to tarnish, so avoiding all this would keep it looking new longer.
If you store the charms in ziplock bags and give them a polish once in a while, that will definitely help.
I'm pretty OCD about my things so I thought about it long and hard before getting one but now that I have it, wouldn't change it at all!
Maybe other forumers who also have oxidised bracelets can share their thoughts:smile1:

I read this in one of the older Pandora threads.
Apparently you put in one smashed hard boiled egg (shells and all) in a ziplock bag with the charms and bracelets that you want to oxidise, overnight.
Next morning, wash with mild soap and warm water.
Then, rub and polish with polishing cloth.
The forumer that did this also attached pictures of before and after it was done.
It looked amazing afterward.
I'll try to find the thread and link it. Hopefully I'll be able to find it again.

Hi! I've been stalking these threads for a long time!

I called One New Change before the bank holiday and they said they would have to check with head office (?) and get back to me Tuesday (today) re the gift voucher and they did.

They said gift voucher is fine and i will get the bracelet. I really do think it depends on who *owns* the Pandora shop i.e if its a franchise or not.

So, thats sorted then except...........im not sure i want one now ! I tried the great double one and it felt more like paper than leather. it also feels like it could easily fall break. Two days to decide........

You could spray it with collonil :D I think I'm going to sell it on evilbay if I don't like it. I'm really not sure about the double or triple. I wonder if they will let me have the snake silver if I spend £95 instead of the triple leather and pay £5 extra.

Everything gets Collinil'd sprayed and gelled once a month - used or not - needed or not. Thank god i dont have that many anymore :smile1:
Today, the one i tried just felt papery and it just didnt feel that *safe* to me. It felt like the actual bracelet part would pull apart from the bit it lock into if that makes sence.

You can only ask, you never know :smile1:

All so true.....was so close to a trip to Bicester this morning, but thought twice and decided against it as now find MK appealing in addition to Mulberry and a pandora and thought I'd buy a new front door instead :lecture:
