Thanks for checking for me. I'm very confused about all of this marking stuff now. I keep buying charms, but I guess it's always better to make sure I know what to look for.

I have the crown charm and I can't discover the hallmarks either. I compaired the charm with the ones in the store and it looks exactly the same, but I didn't take the time to ask if I can see where the stamps are on the one in the store. So maybe it's on a place on the charm that you can't find to easily. I have more charms where it took me a while to discover the place of the hallmark. So I'm not worried.

Thanks for considering my dilemma for me! I really can't find the stamps. I know it's like a 'where's waldo' exercise sometimes, but these two have stumped me.

Hey, I found my stamps. I found this pic on Ebay and if you look really close you can see where they are suppose to be. I hope you can find them now!

Sorry for the huge picture, but maybe it easier to see the hallmarks.

Okay. So, I think I need to stop now. This accumulation just began around 2.5 wks ago with the help of ebay and some friends I purchased stuff from. I spent way over my budget (everything costs approx 1G) and feel a bit of buyers remorse. But, I absolutely love the bracelets. Thanks to all the inspiration here, I became thoroughly addicted to these cute and pretty little charms. So long as all is authentic I'm quite happy with everything I've got. I have some reservations, especially with my 1 primrose that doesn't have any markings (but I checked all the other specs and it seems real). Hopefully the folks on here can confirm things for me.

I'll try to hold off from buying anything like this for the next several months. Hopefully, I can resist! I had a black leather bracelet too with 1 blue oval lights charm, but I gave that one to my mom.

Now, I have a few questions too.

Firstly, I don't know if you folks can see it, but my four leaf clover, the 925 and ALE markings have rubbed off, but you can still see the faint areas where they were. Can pandora re-do the markings for me?

Also, I was wondering what charm was in this final pic. It's got a purple middle stone and looks like 4 leaves around it. It's got 3 sides.

Thanks to everyone for their kind replies, assistance and advice.

Please let me know if I should be concerned about any of the charms or if you have ideas about potential arrangements/what charms I should be looking for next!

Alright, so here are the pics. My gosh, if my friends sold me fakes, I think I'll have to re-evaluate my friendship with them! They look and feel just right to me as a pandora charm, but I'm a newbie to this world so I can't say with total certainty that anything is real.

Thanks to everyone in advance for their opinions!

I've got 2 of the nostalgia beads.....the markings are hard to find, but they are in one of the deep grooves on the bead. The ALE is on one end and the 925 is on the other end of the same groove.....hope that helps!

I've never heard of Pandora re-marking beads....normal wear/friction will cause the markings to wear away, but it usually takes quite a while...the bead you are questioning is a retired bead called the 4-petal flower with pink CZ in the middle of each of the 3 sides.....item number 187619.

Holy Moly!
You're good!
I did end up finding the markings on my own charm!

That was some detective work there on your part. Thanks!

My eyes hurt now from all the squinting.

:push:

Haha, you're welcome! That's why I said I wasn't worried, the markings are on the silliest places sometimes. But I have to say: you must have collected the most Pandora in the shortest amount of time! It must have taken a lot of time searching, but it looks amazing! I can imagine how proud you must be, and about buyers-remorse: if you have the money and you love you're purchase, than it's okay right? You will have this to treasure for a long as you like it and if you ever get bored with it (unlikely :D) you can always sell it. It's not like you threw away your money, it's invested.

I'm so happy!!! I just agreed to buy someones retired mouse charm!! :yahoo:And it's in a really good state, the hallmarks are still there and the tail has it's stripes and even the whiskers are there.

That does help! I was able to find the markings with a loupe. Thanks!

Yah, I purchased a few items from one of my friends who wore her stuff quite a bit, and didn't want to wear pandora anymore. The silver clover in particular has the markings almost completely worn off from the friction of where the markings are and how they rub against your arm. Same goes for her primrose charm.

Thanks for looking up that 4 petal flower one for me. I'm just interested to know when these charms were around and what they're all about. I appreciate your postings.

Pandoortje, thanks for the encouragement! Yes, silliest places indeed for the markings.
As for my mass accumulation, I scoured the internet looking around for what was interesting to me. My only issue was I saw so many beautiful beads/bracelets that I wanted, but I'm worried about customs into Canada and what that fee might look like. I don't know if there are other Canadians who might tell me their experiences. So, I was sorta confined to what I thought I could get without penalties.

And, you're right, if I don't like the bracelet, I could certainly sell it and make back the majority of my money. :)

Pardon my ignorance but I'm from the USA and I don't understand why you would have a penalty for purchasing jewelery online... Thanks. :)

Sometimes the stamp is on the inside rim of the charm making it difficult to see. This is usually the case for some of the open works charms.
