Thank you you're so sweet. That's really nice. That's what I plan to do also. My first charm was from my bff the butterfly, so it's very special to me. The key to my heart was from my husband as an anniversary gift another special charm. The angel is for my DS who was diagnosed with something and looking at my charm gives me hope that he will be cured one day or that it will go away:smile1: I want my next charm to be for my older DS not sure if i should get the little boy charm with the bear charm or the initial charm. He still sleeps with his teddy bear it's so cute

All of you are so welcoming thank you!! Can't wait for more charms :hugs:

I have the little boy for my DS. ((hugs)) sending positive thoughts to you and your son.

All of those sound so adorable : )

Hi, hope to get some expert opinion, I bought my bracelet a week ago. It's 17cm upon the recommendation of the SA. Do you think it's too small, currently only the centre section is filled. It's just nice now but I'm worried that if I start filling it up it will be too tight.

Hello everyone!

Found this thread by accident, searching for Pandora charms images in yahoo search engine. I then immediately registered to this forum :smile1:. I really, really, wanted a Pandora bracelet since I set foot in US of A, and somehow last week they had the promotion of getting a free SS clasp bracelet with purchase of $100. Didn't think twice, decided to take this opportunity to buy Christmas presents for my nieces and myself very, very, VERY EARLY.

Went to an actual Pandora store, and, a very helpful lady helped me out how to snag 4 free bracelets. Did them in separate transactions, so I wouldn't have to go through other Pandora stores :yahoo:.

What I'm trying to do is, to have 1 Christmas charm, and, 1 initial on 3 of the bracelets.

Free bracelet #1 SS
$30 Snowman
$25 Aloha
$50 Sleigh

Free bracelet #2 OSS
$60 "M" x2
$30 "J" x1
$35 Present

Free bracelet #3 OSS
$75 ring upon ring (I'll never bring my sister again with me :push: )
$30 S clip

Free bracelet #4 OSS
$65 Birdie
$35 Elephant

Now, my concerns and questions:

I'm worried about the stone in sleigh charm... does the stones in pandora charms come off easily? These precious gifts..., are going to be given to pre-teens (hopefully they don't abuse the bracelets and charms  ) If they do will eventually fall off, maybe it's a good idea to exchange it for another christmas charm with no stone? Pandora seems to have limited charms for Christmas.

For the Oxidized Silver Sterling clasp bracelets, I only got them because they ran out of the SS ones, but then, I thought, the kids might like the vintage look . Then again, they will soon have raging hormones that might affect the OSS. Might as well exchange it for the SS bracelets instead? I still have 3 weeks for exchange

I do have one problem, I don't know the exact cm sizes of their wrists... I don't know how to get it without them knowing that someone will give them a bracelet or a watch... :sos:

P.S. Loving tPF! So glad I found this :D
I'm a newbie, please be nice :sweatdrop:

Welcome to the pandora thread!! Sounds like you really made a nice haul!

I would expect the store that you went to and spent over $400 at to exchange any of your gift bracelets for the proper size when the time comes. You might want to call them and ask them about how best to handle this situation. I'm sure they would be happy to oblige you, along with exchanging for silver instead of oxi if that's what you want.

I have never heard of a Pandora bead losing a gemstone although I suppose it is possible. I have many and have never had a problem.

I can't really tell from the pic, but it certainly doesn't look too big...it does look a little tight already and more beads will only make it worse. The bracelets do stretch just a little bit with wear, but from my experience, not a whole lot.......don't know what else to say other than go back to the store where you got it and talk to them about it.

Nice to meet you, NorthShoreRPh!

Yes, I will have to get their wrist sizes soon enough.

I also want to exchange the sleigh, just because, it's fifty dollars :push:. The other reasonable christmas charm I can see getting is the $25 poinsettia + another charm that cost $25. If I do go that way, I might make that charm as a prize for a christmas game. Any suggestions?

Oh, and the charms that are gifts bought for myself are the: Birdie(I love playing badminton), aloha spacer(I used to live in Hawaii), and, S clip (randomly chosen just to hit the $100+ mark). The chosen bracelet is the oxidized clasp SS.

So I'm checking out the new charms on the Pandora app... I'm more of a simple-tastes kinda gal and I have to say I find the little "To My Love" love letter charm to be so cute. But I may be going crazy....it says there is red enamel involved but I don't see where. Anyone know or have alternate pics? I might just be going blind I guess....:p:p

Here's photos of my Love Letter charm

It looks like it's a tight fit. With just the center filled. You may also want to add some Muranos down the way and that tends to take more space. Maybe move up to 18cm. While still possible. I have an 18 and 19cm and I can fill them both with 5 muranos and charms. :D

Welcome! You were very fortunate indeed to have 4 free bracelets! The SA usually say the 18cm. is their standard size that almost fits all. About the sleigh, I love that charm and is sooo christmassy. If you just have to replace it with an all silver charm then other christmas themed options are the snowman, santa with the sack, elf, and the poinsettia looking flower/plant.:D

Oh wow, there's an elf charm? I might have missed that looking through some pictures.
My 3 nieces will receive 1 initial charm and 1 christmas charm each. How much is the elf charm? I have the snowman :smile1:. Now that I think about it, the three of them should have an all silver charms, don't want the other girl being envy because the other one got a gemstone they like, or some sort.

Nice to meet you bittenbythebag:smile1:!

Hi Ladies,

Beautiful, SG! I love that pink murano.

Thanks JewlryLuver! I would never have thought to buy it for myself, and now that I have it I love it!:smile1:

Sounds like a busy and productive day! I'm in Montreal for the weekend with some girlfriends. Did way too much shopping, but I'm set for spring/summer...just need to find some white jeans that aren't skinny jeans!

Went to one Pandora store to see if they had new catalogue (check) and new merchandise (negative).

Looking forward to seeing the pics of your goodies!

What a shame they didn't have new goodies in for you:graucho: At least you saved some $$ though for clothes!

It looks fantastic so far! ....I agree with bittenbythebag though, it looks a little like you'll have trouble filling it up. Is it hard to do up at all?

Both of my nearby stored have the new Spring goodies. Having some shopping fun tomorrow.

Yay! Can't wait to see what you get!:D
