coconkally said:lol yeah it did rain non stop i was stuck in the caravan all day wednesday and thursday so come this morning we just thought well whats the point.
we had spent all sunday, monday and tuesday out and about.
but because we had to do it all indoors it cost me a fortune all the eating out and paying to get into places with the girls i think the worst was the york dungeons that cost 60 odd pound for the 5 of us to get in and lasted little over an hour so was back on the streets again thinking what the hell do we do now.
we went in a cafe as well earlier on that same day and all we had was scrambled egg on toast and a hot drink for 5 of us and again it cost me £76 so that 1 day out cost me over £200 by the time we had visited the museum as well.
all i could think of is wow what a waste this is turning out to be.
on the tuesday we just went to the pictures to watch snow white and the huntsman and took a chinese takeaway back to the caravan.
there really wasnt much more we could of done because of the weather but i swear i was not spending another 2 days stuck in that caravan so just decided to come home in the end.
we go camping again in august but to matlock and i just hope the weather is ok.
i cant go abroad as i flatly refuse to put the dog in kennels and with the caravan we can take her with us plus 2 of the girls are 16 and 17 there my partners children but they live with us so i am mum to them really but the last time we all went abroad it cost a fortune as we had to pay 4 adult prices plus 1 child.
what a nightmare.
anyway i think i have rambled on enough for one night lol.
sorry for the long story lol.
Ooo no I like that you went into detail, I can't believe you spent that much on scrambled egg on toast!!! Disgraceful! The weather is a bummer! Hopefully it will be better in August and won't cost as much for the indoor stuff!
Did you enjoy the dungeons though? I've been to Blackpool and London dungeons, would like to go to York, expensive though, I paid 5 each for the dungeons as we got them with the sealift tickets as a promo!
I don't think I'm going on holiday this year other than small breaks away!
Xxx
coconkally said:i think i had to go into detail really plus was so annoyed that we had to cut it short all i wanted to do was get the bbq out and have a drink and i couldnt even do that.
have you seen on the news about those people in wales that have been flooded in there caravans and had to be air lifted i shouldnt laugh really but you dont expect that in june lol.
as for that flipping scrambled egg on toast we piled in the cafe without taking a look at the menu in the window and got seated with menus it was one of them just order and pay the price or walk out and look stupid lmao i was not going to make a fool of myself but i will know never to go in there again.
i would mind but when we had finished we literally walked down the next street and there was a sign for a full breakfast for £5.95 GUTTED!!!
the dungeons well it wasnt too bad but i did spend the whole time on tenderhooks as they kept picking people out to do things and all i could think was do not even pick me lol.
they picked my partner 3 times and i wouldnt mind but he doesnt like doing any of that stuff.
the first time they took him behind a curtain and was pretending to cut his head off of which i heard him say go for it and thought oh no and we all got sprayed with water.
the second time was in a court room and he had to go up and they gave him 3 choices to plead guilty to and he chose the wearing womens clothes and flashing his bum.
and the third time they asked his name and he said tony of which that is his name but they asked him to write it on like a chalk board that they open at the end so they did all the pretending to chop his head off etc and when finished they opened the board only to find out he had written his name down as fred lol.
the bloke asked him at the end why he wrote fred and he just said well if i knew you was going to show it everyone i would of written tw*t.
so yeah it was ok but i dont think my 8 year old daughter thought it was good everyone trying to chop her dads head off lol.
my gosh another long reply you will get sick of me soon lol.
oh and ive bought another 2 gold charms i cant wait to get pics on here to show you but i want to wait till i have them all before i do.![]()

I am gearing up to start my second bracelet. I got the daisy and flower clips a couple days ago. Really wanted to get the lazy daisy w/gold. May go back. I have a lot of pink on my current one bc of my 3 girls. I'm thinking the second one will be green or green/blue. My bday is July 20. Top of my wish list is cupcake, queen bee & royal carriage. What should I have DH get? I'm thinking queen bee

Taralindsey said:Hi all! My boyfriend surprised me with a pandora bracelet a couple days ago with 2 clips, 1 "I love you" charm and a murano. I am so over the moon happy, and already obsessed because I went and bought myself the camera the next day. I am a photographer so I really wanted it after looking online. I also want more turquoise and maybe some green muranos. I need to pace myself! Thanks for letting me share. I have looked through the threads and you all have some fabulous bracelets!
Fippie said:Here's my first pandora! I'm still working on it, switching beads here and there.
Does the gold bead look like it shouldn't be there, should I get another one to balance it out? I'd love advice, this is still new to me.
