I"m thinking of getting a safety chain but I have to choose what size chain to get. Does anyone know if there's a good way to tell which size chain? I'm thinking either a 4 cm (1.57 inches) or 5 cm (1.96 inches). This is getting too complicated, LOL

personally i would go for the 5cm one as you have to remember you will need to fit the bracelet over your hand to get it on with the safety chain on.

Maybe i am mistaken... but i always thought the safety chain was so that it didnt fall off your hand if it broke... or i think that should be the reason anyway... id get a smaller one and just unthread it and re thread it when i had put it on.. otherwise i think they are pretty pointless... pretty... but pointless lol
lol well mine i put on over my hand but baring in mind the bracelet is undone and a tight fit going on so it being undone if i shake my hand about it would take some shaking for it to come off.
personally i couldnt be bothered with undoing the safety chain everytime i put it on and took it off lol too lazy for that.
anyway more of a point i think the usa only do 5cm ones so how can she get a smaller one i am so confused.
my mums just got a safety chain too but she has put a clip in front of it so it cant unscrew as shes worried that if it ever came undone that the safety chain would screw off and she would lose it cant blame her really as she has already lost a murano.
I'm sorry, I should have said I'm getting it from Perlen and they give you a choice of I think 4 different size chains. I was looking at the raindrops one, but now I'm liking the silver one that clips on. But I may have to wait till my birthday in June to get that one. I've got 6 charms in my basket, but I keep going back and forth on which ones to get. I have a hard time making decisions, but I think maybe Pandora is good therapy for me
