JaneFinds is so overrated and their prices are absurd.

I don’t understand the business model with some of these sellers. Does anyone actually pay these prices for used items?

You can see from the sides this was not a mint bag. Something else that bothers me is the strap pictured...their terms in the hidden tab say clearly the strap is not included - but that's a hidden note and it would be easy to assume that for almost 20K you get the whole look including Tressage strap. That's just not user-friendly.

JaneFinds seems quite successful.

I don’t have any information one way or the other about their business success, I am just curious who the buyer demographic is. More for overpriced “standard” Hermès bags vs very rare items, I understand why certain items command a premium.

For example a clemence black B35 for $19,000, it’s just not that hard to find.

Even more mystifying are items that few people would want for half the price, like a $14,000 courcheval K28 from 1994.

The odd thing is also that some of her items are not even rare Hermès bags, they are bags customized and painted by her shop, like this $24,000 camo bag. It’s not even the price that is my biggest objection...

Or the toile camo version for $20,000.

There are also recreated versions of limited bags like the Lettre and Endless Road. Unless I am misunderstanding something!

However, I have seen some cool things in her shop in the past. For example a vintage multi-zebra (not sure of the name of the design) Kelly and CDC. I can’t find a photo of the zebra CDC, so I hope I am remembering correctly.

This custom shop is exactly why I dislike this reseller. Ruining such gorgeous bags and pricing them ridiculously! The designs are terrible.

Well, they can make it seem however they want. I have been following them since the beginning and they have always been very overpriced...which was borne out to me years ago when they were mostly on eBay, I’d see the same listings over and over and over....great stock, but maybe not so many sales.

I think their customer is the wealthy person who just wants x now, which means they don’t have as many customers as they could, but I guess they make up for that with their prices.
