What I want to know is what people with all that ribbon. I just throw mine away, although I keep some on hand to play with the cat. Maybe I am missing out on some ingenious use...
This seller usually prices quite sanely, so this is probably a mistake. The sale was done on a Best Offer price, not this crazy price. This scarf was previously on auction in early August.
I keep mine: it's a growing pile for which I have crafting plans. There is a thread somewhere in the forum showing ingenious things which people made out of the ribbon and the paper bags.

I often put listings on my watchlist without intention to buy: Ridiculous ones like this, auctions because I wonder how high the bidding will get...
Just because somebody asks for a price - even a reasonable one - does not mean it will find someone who will pay it.
