Selena Gomez has just hit a major milestone, becoming one of the youngest female self-made billionaires in the country.
I always side eye these "valuations" without all of the pertinent facts. They assumed that she owned 51%. She may just own that much or even more but a little search shows that New Theory Ventures was a main backer with seed money back in 2020.Since they are privately owned we don't know how much they or anyone else owns vs Selena. Also it has been mentioned that she was having them look into selling the company for $2 billion. Not that she had offers of 2 Billion but she was looking into selling it for that much. Then she later stated that she had no plans to sell the company.
