Authentic bags wouldn't have paper wrapped around the handle.
I'd buy the bordeaux, though!

I'm still amazed and in complete awe that the counterfeiters have jumped LV, yet again, and have come out with a second round of colors (sans python handles) before the actual bag has been released! How do they do it??

If this picture is real (or if the colors at least will be released) then I am in big trouble...haven't been into the PM at all. But with the empreinte release my interest has started and that purple/bordeaux color is just gorgeous (and black, red and blue, but I have so many bags in those colors).

I was actually thinking of buying the YSL collége bag in bordeaux/oxblood but might buy this instead since they are quite similar in appearance (except for quilting vs emp).

people who work at the company itself. it happens in all levels of design, clothes, bags, etc. it's how designers get their designs stolen before they even hit the runway. internal employees who get pics and copies of lead sheets and sell them for money. not hard if you're on the inside.
