Was it really necessary to tell me that my bag is "much cheaper"? I made a mistake and you corrected me. You don't know someone's wealth and while I did buy it when it was produced, you don't know if it was cheap for me to buy or not. I find your comment pretty rude and condescending.

Wow I didn’t really interpret it that way and I’m surprised that’s all you responded to. Would you have preferred a euphemism such as “lower price point?” She wasn’t insulting that, she wasn’t even focusing on that. She gave you helpful and valuable information about your piece with pics on a rare item I personally never even knew existed. Like previous poster said, she was trying to reference how the items are priced differently for your payment reference. Jeez.

Hey now nothing wrong with being cheap or buying cheaper items ... I am cheap and frugal and only buy best possible deals and bargains, my SO and I have bargained a diamond Cartier engagement ring special order from CARTIER boutique on Beverly Hills with a 10% discount. My sister purchased an engagement diamond ring from Tiffany’s with a large discount of at least 15%, I buy Rolex without paying for the tax from Rolex stores, so I don’t ever believe in never say never.

nano seems so small but I think I still want it.

I agree. I love saving money too. I will actually pay in a all cash at a boutique I frequent because they give me a discount if I do. I was purchasing a pricier piece and I actually walked to the nearest atm to get cash just for the discount lol.

I am not the OP. I purchased my bag in 2004, not recently. I don't see how she's talking about the OP when I am the one who shared pictures and she quoted me saying, "Hi your bag (emphasis added by me) is NOT the nano speedy." That to me reads that she's talking to me and not OP--why else am I quoted?

Cheap is quite different than less expensive in my book. When I worked in retail you were trained pretty quickly never to say 'cheap' due to its connotations and instead use 'less expensive' or some other variant. I still don't understand why the price at all had to be mentioned, it has no bearing on me or the OP, since she bought the nano speedy and I was corrected as I was wrong, which I admitted. I do not see the need to bring "cheap" into anything.

I am allowed to feel how I feel, even if that's now how she intended it.

Not everyone on this forum uses the English language the same way. For some, English is not their first language and sometimes words are used that can be interpreted in different ways.

I decided a long time ago to look at context and not read into what’s being said. Sorry you took it personally but it’s very clear to me that was not that person’s intention. Hopefully you can just enjoy your bag and not worry about what anyone else may think about it or you :flowers::smile:
