I enjoyed the article alot. It made feel really good about NOT spending $XXXX on a bag! I'll continue to stick to my wonderful bags in the under $400 range (even then I'm still looking for discount), the great deals on ebay, and the brands I've been carrying for years that have not had any kind quality issues. My bargain-hunting, money-hoarding ways keeps me from being impulsive. I'm not really an "It" bag person. I'm an individualist anyhow.

I do LOVE the Givenchy Nightengale though! But I know it's a bag I will never own unless someone gifts it to me, which I highly doubt will happen.

I took my $2000 Bottega Veneta bag with me to purchase a $159 fabulous over-the-top leather bag at a great boutique the other day. I am all over the map when it comes to bags, so this was a very good article. Thank you for posting. I saw myself in it.

I read this article in the WSJ on Saturday, and felt I could somewhat relate to it. The issues she was talking about that get in the way of making an easy decision were all issues I've struggled with. What didn't feel familiar to me was the price range she seemed so comfortable with. I guess if I was only buying one purse every 5 years, that price range might seem more normal. But even if I bought just one purse a year (gasp!) her range was way too high for me.

I can't relate.

I don't go for the it bags, I'm more into something that will last forever.
And I don't have the Handbag Decision Paralysis. Totally opposite, I shop too much :D
