Maybe the creed can give u an idea on whether the Fawn bag is the real stuff or no? Sometimes they put what exotic materials might be on it. :D

I love the plum...I have never been a big fan of ostrich looking stuff, but that plum is awesome!

Too bad...you had a GREAT idea but the creed reads same ol' same ol---that it is made of leather. Maybe that means, then, that it is embossed. Strange that they always say a bag is embossed in the name of the bag and they didn't here. I just don't know!!!!

well i just don't know how you can keep coming here and revealing more hideously revolting leather bags, really. the leather pieced together like that, with little details all over the place. and hardware that is just disgusting...and that round hangtang, just gross.

:p i love everything all the time so i always feel redundant in my slobbery LOVE responses! of course i adore both of your new bags. the plum kristin is very tempting..that color is perfectly rich. i just really get fascinated by bags that have fine little quirky details like the different types of leather pieced together so perfectly. and sorry about your photo ordeal, been there done that! congrats on more sponge worthy pieces!

I am so late for this reveal. But wow! Everything is wonderful. I was interested in the Fawn bag. I had no idea it was ostrich. I thought ostrich was the bumpy leather too. I really did like the looks of the chain strap as well. The spinner fob is really cool too. Both bags really do look beautiful. I hope to see them in person at some point. Prof - thanks so much for your dedication in getting the pics up. I know it was an ordeal but you are a great Tpfer.

I was thinking the same thing originally, but after looking at it closer, I think the fawn bag is supposed to be ostrich leg leather....Celine did a bag like that awhile back.

I love both bags, but the fawn is really lovely IMO!

Congrats on the great score!

I didn't think of that! A different type of Ostrich leather, that makes sense, thanks!

Nothing to say but GEORGOUS!!! :) Both bags, I am very drawn to the plum however!! Hope you decide to keep both of them...although I would rather, like you, see the chain links they originally showed...hmmmm :) Congrats!! And thanks for sharing, at least your all set for your next reveal anyway as far as the computer and such goes!! :)

Thanks, marywoo! It is GREAT to see you here! I love the pics you have in your avatar--any of these in your present collection now, or soon in your future?! Do tell!!!!:graucho:

Both of your bags are TDF..Love them..I am holding out for the Chelsea reese stone (the light colored one) it will be coming out in August..My SA is going to order it for me on 08/01 with the PCE..and I have my eye on the Chelsea clutch in that HOT red..will post when they both arrive..:woohoo:

Wow!
Both bags are amazingly beautiful! I wish they would have made the chain strap, though....but still gorgeous! I'm anxiously awaiting the mod pics, as I know you will look fantastic with your new bags! I'm also curious to see the how the size of the plum satchel looks when carried. I love both of them, but for some reason I'm really DRAWN to the FAWN, ha ha. It's really classic and lovely, and of course I'd like it, naturally, with a hefty price tag. Those always catch my eye, unfortunately!

OMG prof, what a suspense-filled and fantastic reveal!! The fawn bag is so sophisticated and pretty....a great neutral, perhaps....but the PLUM!!!!

Where is CFC09 so I can borrow her TANK!!!!!!

I'm with donnaoh - love the plum color but the price point is a winner!!!

I love summer. Really, I do. Ours are so short and precious here in the Midwest where we have months and months of coat-wearing weather. But I'm glad to see some of the beautiful fall bags make their debut while we're still enjoying cicadas and long daylight hours. That Plum flap will be SO HOT for fall!!!
