I think Blu only comes in calf. I would recommend you wait for the black. Since that is the one you have been eyeing for months and saving up for. Don't settle! From my experience, as coveted as these bags are, it is not too impossible to get 1 as long as you stalk the deals thread and be patient.

I kind of regret getting my lady bag in moss rather than cammello/dolly, simply because moss was available. I know now that I will be much happier to wait for a few months to get it in my desired colorway.

I agree with the poster above, definitely don't settle. I know it can be a little frustrating not being able to get what you want immediately. The good news is there are plenty of regular black buckets around, nearly every MG retailer carries it and there are plenty of new/gently used ones on eBay if you are so inclined.

if your heart is set to get the black veg tanned, (just my two cents) wait for it :)
I believe blu only comes in calf leather, and calf buckets from the last launch gives a more slouchy look than the veg tanned. and also, only the veg tanned has different color combo for the interior.

Thank you guys! Yeah, I am leaning towards just waiting, because the veg-tanned one is cheaper...but the slouchy look does appeal to me, so I'd like to see pics of blu in action, anyway. Most of the pictures I find online are of the black veg-tanned one.

A question about inconsistent strap length on my two regular buckets.

I got my first MG regular bucket black/blu from a local retailer a couple of months ago, I think it was from the July release (I had pre-ordered). I really love it so bought a second hand cammello/rosa, also regular size, second hand. I believe it's a few months old so definitely from a different season than my black/blu. Intriguingly the strap on the cammello/rosa is quite a bit shorter than on the black/blu. The seller says she didn't alter it, she also recently got cammello/dolly and the straps on both buckets are the same length.

To achieve the same length on both my buckets I have to set the black/blu two holes tighter than the cammello/rosa. How odd is this! Has anyone else experienced different strap lengths? I prefer the length of the cammello/rosa as I wear my black/blu on the second to shortest setting already and fear that with wear the strap will stretch and I will want to shorten it further.

I got the Camello bucket in July from Steven Alan and just ordered a mini bucket in black😃

So do these bags come with storage boxes? I generally like to have them, but the store didn't give me one, so I figured they just didn't come with them. However, while doing an online search to decide which color to order, I saw pics of bucket bags with Mansur Gavriel storage boxes, but I noticed they all were with bags from the online store. So do you get boxes with purchases from the online store only?

That's correct, you only get the official pink MG box if you order direct from their online store. If you prefer to have storage boxes generally you could ask the store to send it to you in a gift box?

I just pre-ordered an MG regular veg-tan black/flamma bucket. I am 5'2", but I tend to like larger bags, so I think the size will work for me.

Quick question - would the black back with the raw interior be less stiff than the red interior? Since I am shorter, I am starting to wonder if a bag that is less stiff might be better. Or would the bag with the red interior soften up pretty well over time?

I have the regular black flamma. After a month of daily use the bag is less stiff but keeps its shape and it doesn't make no more noise when I close/open it. It is more flexible on the top.
