Still loving my brandy bucket and use it pretty much every single day for work. I've had it for almost a year, I think? I figured I would post a picture for anyone who is interested in the bag and doesn't intend to baby it. I usually baby my bags like crazy, but this time I decided to just let things happen. As such, it's been scratched, rained on, had wine spilled on it (not my fault!), been touched by dirty hands (most likely my fault), used as a cat bed and probably more. I love having a bag I just let get weathered and used and I like how it looks now, and I actually really dig the raindrops.

This is just gorgeous-I love the way it has worn. Perfect in my opinion!!!

Your bag looks beautiful! I love the look of a well loved bag

Ok I'm going to go against the grain a little here. I was one of the lucky ones and got the pale pink mini bucket I wanted in the last website launch. I started carrying in Mid May and have been carrying it off and on since. I take very good care of my bags, for instance I have a Gucci from the 80's that is in near excellent condition. I guess me and my bags are now considered vintage, ugh. Anyway, I am not happy with the way this bag is wearing. It never gets put on the ground, when I drive it sits in the car seat next to me or the back seat. Despite this the bottom corners are getting gray and while they do lighten with leather cleaner the cleaner itself takes a toll on the leather. Metal feet on the bottom of this bag would of definitely helped this problem. Also, no pockets inside?? I get that this is a very simple bag and I am glad I got it but I definitely would not pay a penny more for it than I did. These girls who created this bag line are very smart. I wonder if these bags were easier to get if we would want them so much? They definitely are driving up demand by making the "hunt" to get the bag part of the experience. The day I got mine by 5:00pm est I had my son and I taking turn hitting refresh every second on my computer. Really? I did that? Who knows maybe if I got black or a darker color I'd feel different so please know the light colors are not easy to take care of.
I think wear to the corners is inevitable with all the bucket bags, unfortunately. I've been able to touch up the corners on my black and red bags with shoe polish, but have not looked into trying to match the rosa color yet. My corners are still fine on this one, but I have not used it much yet. A pocket inside would be nice...yes, I agree. I tend to use a purse liner, which has compartments, so that has helped with that issue. Sorry you are not feeling the love!

Love it! The way it should look imo. I hope my Lady bag ages as well.

Is this the mini or large?

thanks for sharing - wow! it looks one of a kind. i hope my brandy will wear like yours

Thank you! I'm sure it will, seeing that I've done absolutely nothing to the bag but use it since I bought it. :) So I guess as long as you do nothing?

I love the patina!

Thank you!

Thanks! I agree, I love seeing the leather change over time.

Thank you! Me too!

:) Thank you. As I said above, I'm sure yours will, if not better, seeing that I don't baby my bag whatsoever and it's been raining like crazy here in PA.

Large.

This is interesting. I don't do pony, but the print could be fun. Also the metallic color might be nice. I'm a bit of a traditionalist though with these. I do wish their fall colors were more varied. I'd love to see a plum or burgundy in the traditional Calf.
yes please, plum or burgandy! and in canvas too, so I can get over not getting the flamma. :)

I'm in strong like just not true love. But it's my bad. I probably should of gotten the bigger bucket for summer. I had just gotten my Chanel Jumbo and was trying to down size my day to day bag but I know I like to carry lots of stuff in the summer so that was mistake #1 and then I love the type of leather that developers character over time, the natural leather, but I have a Burberry satchel like that and I did love that pale pink. I'm just not a mail order person. If I had seen the bags and played with them a little before I bought I might of gone another way and been in love now. Lesson learned, and I do like the bag and people are so intrigued by it when they see it.

Black/red vs brandy/light blue ... Life of me can't decide which mini bucket to get. Thoughts? What looks better broken in?
Thanks!!

Did you hear back from PS Dept or find another place to pre-order?

They are both gorgeous! Brandy will develop a natural patina and black won't show that as much but you can't go wrong with either. :-)

Finally heard back from PS. December is Such a long wait to wait. When MG has their bags for sale in their site, are they hard to get? Wondering if I am better off waiting until August and try to order with them...or do I go the PS route and get it in Dec?

I waited 5 months for my bucket, and it went more quickly than I expected, though the last month was a tough. It's not a guarantee to get a bag when MG restocks, though it doesn't hurt to try.
