they r so pretty! I was thinking if I should get the crossbody flap in another color (pre ordered a camello) as I already have a camello/rosa bucket. should I stick with two camellos or one brandy one camello? hard choice!!
I just read in another thread here but thought more appropriate to put this in the bucket chat thread here. This isn't really a comparison of the leather look, but more how the leather affects the size/bulkiness of the bucket.
Is the saffiano leather much heavier than the vegetable tanned? For the regular bucket size.
Also is it much stiffer and hence bulkier than the veg tanned? It sounds as if the veg tanned is more pliable than the saffiano but I recall seeing it in real life (once! a friend's! you know how rare these things are
) and it was pretty stiff to maintain the shape.
I would say, to my memory, the saffiano is slightly stiffer than the regular veg tanned but not heavier? Both end up equal in size though or is the veg tanned softer hence doesn't look as bulky?
Does anyone have both on hand to compare?

So my MO order arrived! I was so excited as soon as I saw my DHL notification went off...
...but I came home to a bag that was smaller than I expected. I bought a mini canvas in creme but I swear what came was a mini mini. What do you think guys?

I just got a regular sized canvas blu bucket yesterday. This bag is MUCH more me than the mini red. I love the red, but the bigger size is SOOOO much better for me. Easier access, it fits more. And the POCKETS! They really should put 3 pockets like this in every bag instead of the silly pouch. IMO it would make it a ton more funtional. I'm a happy lady over here 😄
Congrats! They should really have pockets for the reg size it's like a bottomless pit without one!
though I too find the mini is smaller than expected, the leather/color combo is divine!Can any owners of the original vegetable tanned leather bags tell me if the squeakiness/stiffness of the bag will go away, and if so how much wear it took? The stiffness doesn't bother me too much but the squeaking is awful!
Also, does anyone know if the cammello/brandy colors scratch much more easily than the black, or is it just more noticeable?
