No, it is on the second to last setting, so there should be another inch or two in length if you wanted it longer.
I had thought of returning it when I saw that there was a pebbled version, but when I received it, the color was fabulous. It is just like the gunmetal color. It shines in the sunlight and has great structure. The saffiano leather I think can handle more punishment ( I am a klutz). The most important reason I am keeping this even though the pebbled version is pretty and $100 cheaper is the silver hardware. The gold is a turn-off for me and I love the color combo of dark quartz, black and silver.
Looks great on you. This is not black quartz correct? and is the crossbody strap adjustable? thank you.
Thank you and everyone else who may have commented. It is called dark quartz. It is like the gunmetal color. The sides are regular leather which is black. The strap is also adjustable.

I agree completely with your reasons for going with saffiano over the pebbled leather. The main reason I would be getting this would be to use as an all-weather, all-season bag so saff makes sense. I'm not a gold fan either and while the light gold is a lot more subdued than the brass, I still like silver better. Plus the hangtag is pretty unique too.
I called my store though and they don't have any in yet so now I play the waiting game since I dislike buying sight unseen.
In the meantime, I have to decide which colour to get. Is the violet saff super saturated the way it looks in photos? Are there going to be other colours in this leather besides violet and black quartz?

I think it may come out in black violet according to post #650 on TPF's official coach fall 2013 preview (110 pictures) thread. It was posted by Jane on Aug 3rd. I've kept a copy of her style numbers to check for different small Sadies. I love the design.
Yeah I saw all of the beautiful pebbled leather colours coming up for Sadie and while I am excited, I just can't fall in love with gold hardware.
I think I will wait until small Sadie is released in stores so I can see the colours in person before buying. Really hope it's sooner rather than later!
Would you be able to show a comparison pic between the two? I already decided for mt but would still like to see sadie next to it!

The main thing about MT I couldn't get over was her breakaway zipper but I hope she works out well for you. I saw her in navy saffiano last night and she was TDF...let us know what colour you get!

It's ok... Yes if it's not too much of a hassle you could still snap a pic! I don't zip my bags often so i don't think its going to be an issue.
I am getting a smooth leather and a pebbled to choose from, i'll post pics when they arrive.
If i wouldn't have three new madison bags already i definitely would have gotten Sadie. She's a gem!
I know you are talking about the MT in the navy saff. I am HOPING for a small Sadie in a navy saff! That would be exactly what I have been looking for!
