Your thoughts on the Paseo bag?

I’ve been thinking of getting one in black and size small. I like that other than the handles, it also comes with a strap. I love the look of the bag as well.

Has anyone purchased the Paseo bag yet? Would love to know your thoughts on it!

It is supercute, looks like a dumpling to me. The folding is beautiful.
But I would not buy it because it is not so much my style, as I prefer rectangular bags.
Have you seen it in person already?

I have yet to see it in person.

Also, I wonder if this will end up as a classic Loewe bag like the Puzzle or if it’s a seasonal type of bag.

I’m a guy so YMMV for sure - have seen the Paseo in the store but I feel it’s a really long bag - it’s almost strictly a shoulder bag and any other way of carrying the bag (Eg trying to crossbody or hand carry) visually looks odd to me due to its length. The largest size they have now to me is a very awkward and ugly bag and the small and medium sizes look much better. Also not a fan of the maroon/burgundy color that is currently instore. I did see a woman carrying the donut chain version of the paseo yesterday and it looks ok but I still think a flamenco is a more visually pleasing bag to me and feels more flexible as a bag.

The shape of the bag is not very attractive for me, so so far no plan on buying unless it comes with some unique edition. I am not interested in East-West kind of bag in general. (Bags like Dior Lady D-Joy, for example.) But I am sure it's working for many others.

Great point.

Also, the Paseo looks so bulky and takes up a lot of space that it might be a hassle to carry it around.

There is a gorgeous teal type colour in some of their publicity shots for this bag, but overall the shape isn’t wowing me. It might be useful depending on what you carry though.

Another guy throwing in my opinion: I like the creativity behind the design; those Loewe leather workers really know what they are doing. With that said, I think the Paseo is… it doesn’t please my eye. It just reminds me of a cheap bag you’d buy at like Claire’s or a purse party. When I first saw it on IG, I immediately showed my boyfriend and told him that if I were presented that by someone I’d be inclined to think it’s fake.

I think Loewe creates some of the most beautiful and intelligent designs but this one wasn’t a hit for me.

I think the Paseo is absolutely beautiful  . Totally my kind of bag. I love unusual designs. However the price is not easy to digest for me. Not sure if I want to spend so much money for a bag that is probably difficult to resell at some point. You really have to love the bag and have lots of $$$ or €€€ . But I am totally in love with the small Paseo in emerald with the chain straps. Sooooooo unique and beautiful . Big sigh!
