Saw the flamencos and puzzles in the store yesterday and I still prefer the horizontal design of last year’s surplus collection. The vertical stripes look fine but loses the “geological” look.

I'm not sure if I find the horizontal or the vertical layout preferable (vertical seems a little more striking) when looking at the flamenco on its own. But using the more curved/circular layered bits on the puzzles and wallets feels like a big miss - not enough area for them to show off the well done transition between the leather pieces.

Maybe anticipation for the transition is going down like a lead balloon and they're padding their margins in advance with these price increases, but it's out of control... 2 years ago a mini classic puzzle was US 1970, now a mini edge starts at 2850, braided handle mini classic is 3500, featherlight mini is 3850
