The leather is very strong! I do not change it, I prefer the longer length. It’s been that way since I bought it in 2021.

With me, it came packaged from the shop adjusted to the shorter length so I had to change it

Hi! Yes I figured, adjusted mine now and it’s much nicer than the short length to carry it on the shoulder.

I guess the basic issue is still the debate in my head wether or not I want an actual big basket with a logo (celine, loewe, prada, Chloe a all
Nice palm leaf bags!) or a summery raffia bag that’s also chic enough to take to dinner or whatnot. I kinda want both

Sharing a little ootd with my square basket bag

I just wanted to jump on here and share an update:

I ended up going to a store and had the luxury to look at and chose from a total of 5 square tote baskets! I was astonished how different they were in colour, size and shape. I ended up picking the one I loved most and returned the one I had bought online.


It truly makes a difference if you can chose “your” basket from multiple ones!

I went for a honey coloured one which was a lot more rounded at the top opening (looking like this: (____) instead of this <_____> from the top)

It’s also a lot more even in colour compared to the one that the online shop chose to send me (lighter in colour and with dark brown spots that bothered me…)

FYI, for anyone debating a basket: if u can, pick one pic is for reference only - I picked one fresh from the storage.You can see: the height differs, the overall colour too and the colour of the leather can be different too.
