It's looking more and more like Kris and Robert had an open relationship at some point. He was clearly aware that at least one other individual existed. The fact that it bothered him could be completely independent of Kris and Robert deciding to make it ok to see other people.

Ryan is the name she gave Todd in her book, they are one in the same.
I wouldn't be surprised if she had several affairs. Robert hired a PI to catch them.

So she cheated and got pregnant with Khloe, then cheated again when Khloe was 4/5, then got pregnant with Rob. Something tells me, it was a wait and see nail biter, when she got pregnant with Rob.
