Khloe Kardashian Talks Body Confidence and Keeping Things Sexy with Lamar

Khloe recently teamed up with U by Kotex to launch Generation Know, a program that empowers girls to be the first generation to commit to learning more about their health and bodies and to share that knowledge with others.

The campaign features an online hub at generationknow.com, where girls can learn from experts and get involved in projects designed to create social change. For every girl that gets involved with Generation Know by visiting www.generationknow.com, U by Kotex will donate $1, up to $500,000, to Girls For A Change, a national nonprofit organization, to fund educational trainings across the country and help girls create social change within their communities.

We got to sit down with the gorgeous celeb to find out who in her life has empowered her, how own body confidence issues, and how she and Lamar keep things sexy.

Cosmo: Who in your life has empowered you to know more about yourself and your body?

Khloe:
I've had a lot of really influential people in my life, like my grandmother MJ, who have helped me along the way. But there are so many of us girls in my family, and even though they're all so open and honest, who I seek advice from depends on what aspect of life I'm dealing with.

Cosmo: Because you have little sisters, does this program mean more to you?

Khloe:
Generation Know is for women of any age, but I really struck a cord with it because of my little sisters. I'm so much older than them—my mom had Kendall when she was 40 and Kylie when she was 41—so I just wanted them to feel okay talking to me about whatever they wanted to, because I know some topics can be uncomfortable. I love when they talk to me about anything and everything, and everyone should have someone they can turn to, so that's why this campaign really resonated with me.

Cosmo: How did your sisters respond when you told them you were going to be the spokesperson for Generation Know by Kotex?

Khloe:
They loved it because when I first signed up to do this program. They were younger and going through puberty, which meant they had questions but didn't want to ask my mom about them. So they come and speak to me directly about anything—even their friends ask me things, especially since some of them are only children and feel like they can't talk to their parents. I just think that knowing about your body at any age, whether it's educating yourself on fertility, getting mammograms, going through puberty—whatever it may be, is really important. I just really encourage women empowerment and being comfortable talking about these issues.

Cosmo: Obviously we all struggle with body confidence issues, but how do you deal with the ones you face?

Khloe: We're all our own worst critics and so hard on ourselves, but for me, my biggest insecurity is my arms. I just hate the tops of them. I workout and they still never look good enough for me. So, over the years I've learned to dress to make myself feel better. It's not like I'm eating donut after donut—I exercise and try to eat right, but dressing for my body type is key. I used to follow trends and try to do exactly what I saw in the magazines, but I'm not a Victoria's Secret model who can wear anything. [That said,] dressing for your body type comes with trial and error, but I know how to do it now.

Cosmo: Speaking of your body, what's Lamar's favorite part about you?

Khloe: That's funny, Lamar just was asked this question and he did say my ***, but I think that's a very guy or husband thing to say. But I don't mind it, I actually have a nice *** and I'm proud of it—it's the Kardashian booty and I own it. Big and beautiful, baby!

Cosmo: Since we're Cosmo, we're dying to know how you and Lamar keep things sexy?

Khloe: Lamar and I, during the NBA season, make a rule that I go to every single home game and then we go to dinners afterward and that's our time. And then when he is on the road, I make sure to plan a lot of my road work trips so that we're never really gone from each other too long. But Lamar is seriously so cute. He'll send me flowers for no reason and his texts are just so passionate. But my favorite part, which is one of the reasons I love going to his home games, is that he makes faces at me while he's playing, like subtly blowing me a kiss or something like that. So the fact that we send sweet texts and still flirt with each other [on and off the court] definitely keeps things fresh.

This thread got crazier than usual.

I wonder how the crass factor will work for her as she ages. It's a schtick that only works if you're in your early 20s at best.

Even then it's only because one can guess you behave that way because you don't know any better.

And when you're old, by then people assume you're delusional or just too old
