Agree. It looks like a movie set. I don't the slabs of wood. I like the large sofa, but would have preferred if it was one piece (like Mariah's tv room). The light bulbs look silly

I heard that they do quick and not quality work on these shows.
seams don't meet well.

Seams not straight and the speaker? Black and in the wood......nope, hidden would look better.

Is that an exposed plug? Technology today all plugs can be hidden.

Unfortunately it probably looks worse IRL 3D. Redwood? and the floating shelves probably look lost on that wall.

They said on the show 10 days, but I doubt that. The middle sofa is by ABC Carpet and says on their site 3-4 weeks delivery.

They might have planned it out a long time ago and preordered the couch? I understand the fast put it together work, it is a show and they can't spend weeks, months coordinating the workers and details. But since this couple has so much money, I am surprised that they would settle for this type of job. Even with it being free.

Agree. I have seen regular non millionaires with better basements.

That's probably for you and me. They get publicity out of this deal, so I'm sure they move faster for tv shows.

The finish product looked better on tv. It doesn't look like Andrews work, but it looked good. I think the padded bare walls are giving of that vibe. Probably needs more art in there. But it was free too. So, sometimes free might not be best. It looks better than the purple and gold that was there before. I'm sure the TV/audio system are fine.

They could have had their designer change the purple and gold when they were in Dallas.

Rooms/ sets look bigger on TV. IMO this is too much stuff squashed into a small space and the love seats are for people who like to sit in the front row in the theaters, they look two steps from the TV.

The tv is about a foot and a half to the left of the left redwood. Too close for the back row with a system that size. It could give somebody a headache.

See how close that redwood is to the screen? The big couch isn't that far away.

That room looks terrible! The only thing I like are the built in cabinets that house the TV and the huge sofa.

It did too me. I definitely like Andrews work better and wouldn't be surprised if they called him in to add something to this.

I loved the 13 foot sofa and the tv unit the most.

Whatever. They'll keep it for a year and then throw everything out and start again... on someone else's show and dime.
