Mario has sooooo much more experience hosting than Khloe does. I expect him to outshine her. Khloe's inexperienced and probably way too concerned with making sure she doesn't mess up so her personality doesn't really get the chance to come through. Considering Simon is desperately trying to save the show, I wouldn't be surprised if neither Khloe or Mario were invited back next season.

I've noticed on KUWTK she's so vibrant but when she's out of her element she's not the same. I remember seeing half an episode of The Apprentice and I was like :oh: She seemed so reserved and quiet on that show.

Yeah but its not like she's not use to being in front of the camera. I haven't watched so I can't judge... although in comparison to Mario I can see how he'd be better at it since he's been doing it much longer.

Yeah well just because you're used to being in the spotlight, doesn't make you a good host. Hosting is a talent and skill, like being an actor or singer. It's not an easy job that anyone can do. You need to be smooth talking, relaxed, easy going, vibrant etc. You need to have a knack for it.

I watched a few seconds of youtube clips of the X factor and thought Khloe was pretty good. I'm taking into consideration she barely finished high school and has no real skills, other than living her superficial and very insubstantial life in front of the cameras... making kissy faces for lack of any deep thought.

So taking that into consideration, I think she managed very well. She kept a smile on her face, read her cue cards and let Mario do most of the work, which I think was part of the deal for him. That made her look awkward, but it wasn't her fault that she had nothing to do while he spoke.

She was as good as any other inexperienced talking head, IMO.

Let me see if I am interpreting your words correctly: she $ucked. She did as bad as I knew she would because she did something she had no business doing and Simon Cowell ended up with egg on his face because he used spectale instead of talent to get the job done.

IMO they hired her for her name only. Unless she lied :smile1: the first time she tried the Teleprompter was after she was hired.
Personally, I think he overestimated the name appeal but if he feels the shows numbers benefited, he will keep her. Who cares about talent or lack of if the numbers are up.
Nip slips, flirting sitting on his lap making suggestive comments (and she is married) if that works :graucho: who knows what she does behind the scenes.

I didn't think Khoe was horrible, but I also don't think she was great. She always looked pretty, but I'm typically not a fan of hosts in general.

I hate that British chick on So You Think You Can Dance, but she's gorgeous.

OMG i thought i was the only one. I can't stand her. Khloe is just really awkward. I think if she just relaxed a little bit, she could be better.

I actually think Khloe would be good at other type of hosting jobs. Like i think she would be really good as a correspondent, interviewing celebs on the red carpet or something along those lines. I even think she would be entertaining on her own talk show. I just think the whole 'live, formal hosting infront of millions of people' is too much for her at the moment. It's too much pressure. She should start with smaller, less formal gigs and maybe eventually she could move on X-Factor type gigs.

Khloe improved every week and she did really good last nigt. and I actually watched each week. She's really in her element when she talks to the contestants backstage. She definitely needs to work on her questioning though.
