Khloe Kardashian Tweets Panic Over Dallas Tornadoes​

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has been left panicked after two tornadoes ripped through her newly-adopted home of Dallas, Texas.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians regular moved to the city last year when her husband, basketball star Lamar Odom, was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks and she found herself taking cover on Tuesday afternoon as the skies began to cloud over.

Two separate tornadoes barrelled through the Dallas and Fort Worth areas, prompting officials at the National Weather Service to issue emergency warnings.

In a series of Twitter.com posts, she wrote, "OMG (oh my God) another tornado!!!! What??? Its (sic) so crazy!

"Born and raised in Cali... Tornado's (sic) are very new to me... 3 inch hail storms...... Ummmmmm"

Other stars took to Twitter to warn fans of the looming danger.

Rapper/actor Xzibit tweeted, "Prayers going up for everyone in #Dallas. Take cover and be safe. #tornado just touched down", while country singer Blake Shelton stated, "Whoa!!! Dallas!! Look out!"

The tornadoes have caused serious damage to buildings across the state, although no deaths had been reported as WENN went to press.

Live TV footage has shown tractor trailers, vehicles and all manner of items whipped up into the air by the storms.

Yeah my BFF is still there. She was supposed to leave yesterday but the flights were delayed. They had to take shelter in the mavericks arena.
She has been in contact with Khloe and Lamar during the trip. She will fill me in when he gets in town and share pictures.

Khloe Kardashian appears on the cover of the May issue of Cosmopolitan.

There's only one person who's allowed to criticize Khloe Kardashian for gaining a few pounds: her mom and manager Kris Jenner, 56.​

Kardashian, 27, appears on the May issue of Cosmopolitan, where she defends her mother for addressing her weight gain on national TV.​

"Listen, my mom believes in us more than we believe in ourselves. But she is also our manager and trying to protect our brand," Kardashian tells the magazine. "She'll say, 'Oh, you're a little too fat right now.' If she were just my manager, I'd have fired her right then. You can't talk to me like that."​

In May 2011, Jenner explained her on-air weight scrutiny, telling Us Weekly: "Although I think Khloe looks amazing just the way she is, I feel everyone needs a little motivation from time to time. I think I was just way too critical in the moment. I feel terrible that I made her feel bad about herself! I would never intentionally hurt her feelings."​

Kardashian, a 5-foot-10 Quick Trim spokeswoman, doesn't mind being seen as the "curvy" sister, thanks to her NBA player hubby Lamar Odom, 32.​

"Lamar tells me he loves my body and I'm beautiful multiple times a day," she told Us in 2011. "I've never had that before: someone saying, 'Without makeup, without clothes, you're stunning.' He loves my body and loves that womanly shape."​
