La Clipper Lamar Odom failed to turn up in a New York courtroom Friday for a custody hearing with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales because of a back injury. Odom, the husband of reality-TV star and “The X Factor USA” co-host Khloe Kardashian, could not make it to the hearing after he injured his tailbone during a game and was advised not to travel. Instead, he called into the hearing via phone. Odom has taken Morales to court to set a “parental access schedule” over their children, 12-year-old daughter Destiny and 9-year-old Lamar Jr. The athlete reportedly wanted to adjust his custody deal with Morales so he could have the children appear on his E! reality spinoff show with Kardashian, “Khloe and Lamar.” A source tells us that “Odom filed a petition to establish time sharing of the kids and agree on finances and child support.” Odom and Morales were never married. He married Kardashian in 2009 after they dating her for a month. Howard Michael Rudolph, Odom’s attorney, told us that “Lamar loves his children and was in court to resolve the details of time sharing and finances.” Liza said in a 2010 interview with Star that she was opposed to the children’s being filmed because “Lamar has always been welcome to see the children but he hardly comes.” She and Odom had a third child, Jayden, who died from sudden infant death syndrome when he was 6 months old.

C’mon Lam-Lam, you don’t go see your kids regularly, but now you want more time with them so you can flex on reality TV?? Not cool bruh…be a daddy not a deadbeat'

Lamar and Khloe both stated on numerous occassions their show wasn't over. Anyway, this report looks to be filled with eras. Destiny will be 15 this summer. I think his son is 11 now. More than likely Liza has changed her stance on reality tv and has been filming with the children on her upcoming show. I know Destiny has tweeted about filming the show. Lamar probably wants it in their visitatation agreement that they are now allowed to be filmed with him. If the kids are going to be filmed with him, looks like the flming will be in the summer during the off season. Liza opened that can. If it's good for her to film with them, then it should be goodfor him.

Lamar has a wonderful relationship with his kids and sees the kids during the holidays and over the summer. He has always taken care of them finanacially according to Liza. Destiny always speaks highly of him and is always excited when it's time to go to LA. She's been talking about her Christmas break on twitter for the last few weeks. Khloe and the kids have a good relationship too.

He has nothing to offer TV show wise, what are we going to see, more shots of him rubbing his head in his old Lakers jersey? They are probably out of ideas and want to use his kids. I hope Liza holds her ground.

I think Liza has changed her mind regarding reality shows now since she's filming one and is allow her kids to be filmed.
