Yep and that's exactly my point. She doesn't have her own identity. If she's happy then great but i don't think it would hurt for her to find her calling in something. I think it's fulfilling for anyone to have something that's unique to them.
I see what you're saying but if she stopped talking about her marriage, then the rumors would run rampant and people would jump on THAT and say "SEE it IS in trouble she isn't talking about Lamar!"
That is fine if her identity is her marriage, if they have a good sex life great. At some point when do you leave something private in your marraige? Everything on display for ratings and attention shows how ignorant and desperate they are. Out of common decency for yourself, your sex life should be between you and your spouse.

If her marriage is strong then she should not worry about what everyone says or tabloids print. The fact that she has to react to everything IMO makes it seem like she is insecure. At some point, in her adult life she needs to ignore all the gossip and live her life.
It is like the guy who brags about everyone he sleeps with yet he is still a virgin.
She probably is insecure. It seems like Kourtney is really the only one with the IDGAF attitude.
I thought it was weird how she said it was 'sick' that people were making up rumours about her marriage being trouble. How is that sick? It didn't really seem like the right word to use in that context.
I appreciate that about Kourtney. She doesn't $hit get to her. She lives her life for herself, not anyone else.

They forget that as celebrities there will be adoration and criticism. They need to learn to blow off the criticism and go on.
^ I agree but I imagine that's easier said than done. I think all celebs know that rumors and criticism come with the territory but that doesn't mean it's not aggravating or frustrating at times. It's natural to want to defend yourself and it can be bothersome when the general public takes gossip for gospel.
IMO They built their empire by exploiting their personal lives with gossip writers/press and a scripted reality show. Staying in the press is their bread and butter. let the tabloids talk and limit the reacting and press releases to issues like Khloe's paternity.
And leave the sex life out of the public life. Bragging and scripited sex swings scenes are just tacky. For once I would like to hear, and would accept the words, "it is private." If khloe is good with staged sex scenes Kim should be fine with real scenes from a court room for her pending annulment case.
This is my main question also, shouldnt something be left just between them? I understand if she is happy and wants to shout it to the rest of the world and even understand if Lamar did something really sweet and she wants to share it with her fans, but to tell the world how often per week you have sex with you husband is embarrassing and desperate.
It is not only that but add the cooking naked tidbit and she once claimed that her and Lamar use an egg as lubrication during sex and I was embarassed for just for reading that article on US Weekly.
That should more of an issue for him because they are his children. His daughter is a teenage for heaven sake, she should not have to see her father with his current wife on a swing set on national tv with his wife telling him to 'take off his pants'. I am sorry to say but that is so irresponsible of him, and he should know better.
He does talk about basketball and other sports. Hardly ever about her or this reality show. If he is asked questions about it, he does respond but seems uncomfortable and just claim that it is 'hard' to film the show.
