I don't know if anyone here watches The Big Bang Theory, but they gave this couple a shout out last night. In the episode, Raj was on a date, and the girl he was out with thought he was gay. She told him that he was wearing more perfume than she was, and he said, "This is Unbreakable by Khloe and Lamar. It's unisex!!!"

Speaking of, has anyone ever smelled it? Is it nice?

You're right! Even living in NYC, I'm still surprised to see a Birkin literally everytime I go out.

I now even see them a lot at my local mall. Years ago a Birkin sighting was not as common.

I see a lot of fake birkins too.. I even have a few friends who carry those a lot And they look so, so cheap.

That's funny because where i live(which is a big city with tons of wealthy people), i NEVER see birkins, or even hermes in general. On the rare occasion i do see one, it's like shocking, i can't stop staring Maybe it has to do with living in Canada, maybe birkins are harder to get here? i dunno

There's a large Hermes Boutique on Bloor, just down the street from Holts. Birkins are easy to get and the SAs are really nice. Go shopping on Bloor, one Saturday -- you'll see lots of Birkins.

I agree. I have stopped carrying the 2 I have, at least for a while, because they are everywhere. And most people can't tell a fake from a real. It used to be they were sort of under the radar bags, some even called them "old lady bags", but now... Different story.

I don't get the hype about Birkins. I find them plain and uninteresting. I prefer Kelly bags in bright colors.

I never see them on anyone your young age - you're probably walking right past those more mature women and not even glancing.

noo, i always look at older woman! sometimes i think they have better style than anyone my age, especially the yorkville type crowd. Good style is good style no matter what the age Plus, it's kinda hard to miss a beautiful birkin! I'll have to keep a closer eye next time i'm out!
