Looks like Lamar still wants to be a Laker.... not suprised.... yesterday wearin' the Lakers ring... now today wearin' the Jersey.... and yes... he WAS in NYC yesterday.... he was most likely comin' from the NBA Headquarters that's on 5th Avenue.... because it's in the vicinity to where I was headed.... and most he likely went straight to JFK or LGA Airport afterwards.... a flight from NY to Dallas is 3 hours.... the reason why you most likely didn't see any tweets is because NY'ers don't generally care about celebs.... we simply don't.... we see celebs... it doesn't excite us.... and plus you can't get any cell phone/internet reception on the trains because they are underground.... the above ground ones... yes.... 'tis all....

Friday night there was a home game in Dallas. Khloe was at the Friday night game in Dallas. Saturday night he played in Memphis with the team and that's when Cuban confronted him at half time in the locker room and the "drama" went down.

LOL I was just about to comment on that too. His agent is based in new york, no way there was face to face meeting with Lamar. Mark said he made up his mind after Lamar didnt give him a straight answer about whether he was 'in or out'.

Likely on sunday, Mark met with Nelson and Carlisle and made the decision, then inform Lamar and his agent.

Only tweet I saw was from Kendall saying she was looking forward to seeing him at dinner and that was in the afternoon. So, maybe they were expecting him that night and he decided to fly today instead. Who knows. I didn't see any dinner tweets about him though. Khloe did a post on her blog about the dinner and she didn't say he was there.

I guess we will all see soon enough one way or the other.:laugh:

Best part about living in NYC, is no one cares if you are famous. We keep it moving here. Celebs are not our source of income, and they rarely get special treatment here. I do question if he was on the subway and no one took a pic, but it is realistic for him to be here and no one gives a damn to post a tweet pic about it.

His kids are in school now but that would be a good plan instead of famewhoring with the Kardashians.

I feel bad for him there are sooooo many stories about him now even ESPN runs multiple stories about him per day. All this scrutiny is because of the reality show, even Allen Iverson if I remember correctly didnt get that much negative press and he was defiant.

That is what I was thinking.
It was my impression that he was informed rather than asked :laugh:

He could have flown private jet to NY on a moments notice, use some of that free money he is getting.

You know i actually went + looked. :laugh: He has 80,000. Oprah has like 10 million so he's definitely slacking!

I only meant that he's not the type of person people go crazy over when they see him. He's a very good actor + was awesome in Stir of echoes and Mystic River.

If it makes Kevin Bacon feel better, i also went to a a dinner/event with my cousin + Amare was there and alot of people (my cousin included who spent about 5 minutes casually talking to him about the chef) had no idea who he even was. I had to explain to her that he is actually on our very own basketball team + kind of a big deal. :laugh:

Yes. The agency Excel Sports that Jeff works for is in NY so i would assume he lives her as well. That could be who he was seeing + would explain it being a quick trip.

ETA; Oruka beat me to it. Excel is based here, but they also have an office in LA so i'm not 100% on where Jeff Schwartz lives but NY is likely.

ESPN article said they met with Odom on Sunday. And on Sunday night Khloe tweeted "Never a dull moment" which leads me to believe she found out on Sunday too. She tweeted the same thing "Never a dull moment" when the news was released to the media on Monday.
