Tiffany Co ordered this in for another client and they let me view it. They know im a geologist who loves jewellery so they are always like "we got this cool thing in youll love it!" haha. theyre so nice. It has a waiting list of 6 people all over the world apparently. If they lady in my city doesnt purchase it, it will fly to Canada next week for the person second in line. So stunning and congratulations to who ever purchases this magnificent ring. You lucky ducky.
Not sure if this is high jewellery, but it feels like it to me haha.
It’s great to see these types of pieces on customers, not just models and instagramers. Thank you for sharing. It’s a gorgeous ring.

Thanks very much. It was fun to try on. I much prefer photos of them being worn and the real thing other than the ones on tiffany's websites. Its easier to get a feel for the item and tis character :)
I really enjoy other peoples photos too so thanks to everyone for sharing :) x

Wow.
How big is the sapphire?
Price range?
It looks great on your hands.

I think the sapphire was between 5-6ct from memory. I didnt ask the price haha - and they didnt tell me. It wouldnt have been that helpful either as it would have been in Australian dollars inclusive of our GST (goods and services tax). So it would have only helped fellow Australians.

Perfect size. Thanks for sharing.:flowers:
As a professional like yourself, how do you stop yourself from acquiring many goodies?
Your box must be amazing.

It is very hard haha! i think i find it hard like everyone else. COVID has actually been good for that, as im not wearing as much as there hasnt been much on to wear the nicer items too. So when i dont wear them as much, i dont buy as much.
some things in my jewellery box are great and some are on the smaller size. i dont mind smaller stones as long as they are high quality - for me thats more important. tbh my jewellery box is very much a mishmash of a lot of different things haha.
I tell myself I actually prefer looking at the stones than necessarily purchasing them. That is where the fun begins for me is selecting the gemstone - and comparing different ones. Ive thought about moving from geology to gemology a few times, and when i first graduated university I applied for a few gemology jobs but i was declined every time for being over qualified. They all said "youll be underpaid and under utilised with us" - yet that didnt recognise part of the payment was the enjoyment of the work. Im even more over qualified now from further study and experience so it would be harder still to move. Although i do enjoy geology as well.
So i enjoy what i get to look at and purchase for myself, and its always free to look.

you must have a lovely jewellery box as well :) would love to see photos if you would like to share :) x
