Ok...An unpopular opinion coming up but no apologies for this.
My other Suggestion for the Hermes of.. goes to....
Birkenstock!
Tracing its roots back to 1774 Birkenstock is most definitely a Heritage brand.
The shoes are excellent quality and can be worn by anyone from a teenager to a 90year old.
They are classics!
Like a Birkin or a Kelly The Classic Arizona sandal can work with most outfits.
I styled a rock musician in Patent Birkies with a Leopard print suit and Velvet Tom ford/Gucci and it worked (oh yes it did!)
And like the B & K the sandals are instantly recognisable.
Plus The Chanel dad sandal was clearly influenced by them (In fact I prefer my Milanos to the Chanel Dad)
I only wish I had as many Birkins as I do Birkenstocks (about 15pairs in everything from Chanel style tweed to pony hair ..you name it!)
And yes I have worn black patent ones with silver studs with an evening skirt in black taffeta.
The way they mold to your feet is unbeatable. I love them. I've been meaning to get more styles. I'm sad I missed the Manolo crossover.
Frette bedding and bath collection
Pupi Solari kids clothing
Murano glass (Venini especially)
I've been meaning to get new towels so I'm definitely going to look into Frette. Thanks!

Another Addition:
de Sede leather furniture.
they started as a saddle maker and branched out into furniture in the 1960's (I believe).
And like Hermes they not only use the best quality hides and workmanship but also incorporate innovative design that has stood the test of time (in my opinion) and indeed some of the pieces like the Snake sofa or the boxing glove have become iconic.
As a fan of modernist furniture and architecture when we brought our current home 12 years ago (a 1960's design) we set out to buy de Sede sofa's and are lucky enough to now own two (one a sofa-bed in the spare room) and I can say hand on heart they are comfortable, beautifully constructed and durable.
I love them so much that when/if we move again even if its to a Victorian or Georgian house We're taking them with us.
The beauty of truly good design is that it really can work in any environment.
Same as a Birkin, Kelly or Bolide can be worn by a Woman (or man) from 18-90 but thats another story..

1221?! You don't see that everyday. The website is so soothing to browse through as well. I'll have to give them a try. Thank you!
Have you tried any of the products yet?
I was reflecting in the bath last night that the bar of soap I was using is well into its 3rd month.. (probably longer...) and in case you were wondering..I take a bath every night and a shower every morning (for which I use Hermes Orange Vert Shower gel)
edited to add: DH fortunately uses his own soap so the Santa Maria is Mine and mine alone!

I'm currently doing a bathroom declutter and am going to reward myself with some when I finish. I'll keep you posted!
