So true! When I went to the boutique I had my heart set on the Bingata CSGM. Was so disappointed in the fabric I walked out of there with only the Twilly version.

thanks for some hard core enabling I'm due with a (pretty certainly) little leo girl next wednesday and if she's waiting to make an entrance, at least the Fedex man will hopefully deliver this lion in the meantime

It isn't a format that suits me either for size and winter climate but I am sorry to hear that as I will be traveling east more this winter and was considering buying my first CSGM. I did not think the wash scarves were particularly compelling this season either-- very dull colors to my eye.

Do try on some CSGMs in the boutique. You might like them - I know you experience different climates. Also airplanes maybe?
A format I like is the cashmere losange (men's dept) - super useful.

I got two Bingata twillies - they are great! The shawl looks wonderful in pictures, though. Sigh.

I find the CSGM’s to be useful year-round in the Northwest. I almost always have one stowed in a silk pouch in my handbag for chilly summer evenings. I fly with one even to Hawaii as an extra layer on the flight and even for dining at the beach on a breezy night. Disappointing the quality has diminished. I’m not sure I’ll keep the one I just purchased. I love the CW and pattern. Maybe it will be my last.

063782S colorways 22 is black and 16 is red. My SA said these are the only two colorway they made. Which is so sad. This adorable design could showcase any color so well!
