So after first wanting nothing but 05, I ordered 08 and now am keeping 04. Probably. Definitely. Maybe.

I saw that they had several of the Bingata color ways in the case and asked if they had 6. They did! The SA went in the back and dug through boxes to find it for me.

I tried it and loved it. This is my first CSGM. And I also got the Bingata Twilly in color way 6, which was not on my radar, but the colors are beautiful.

Love them! I was swaying toward getting the same CSGM CW but after seeing this Twilly I’m wishing this was a 140 CW! :heart:

I called the 800# and the sa actually chuckled and assured me there is nothing to worry about. I’m sure if one’s return behavior is egregious/bordering on criminal they’d do something but it sounds like the average person has nothing to fear. Now I’m kicking myself for not ordering the cdl. Oh well- I stalk h.com daily so I’m sure something from this season will spur a purchase.

I think it’d be very helpful if this info was also available in/moved to the thread specifically for h.com! Not sure how that can be done, but maybe you could ask mods…? :confused1::flowers:

I did my scarf study. The double face scarves weighed the same as the new single face. Well, my Clair de Lune was 1 gram heavier, actually, 72 g instead 71 g, but individual scarves can vary by that much. Della Cavalleria Favolosa and La Danse des Chevaux were 1 g lighter at 70 g. Route 24, Formule Chic and my single face La Folle Parade were all 71 g.

Honestly, every time I go the site, I find another cw of something - yesterday, more DELLA CAV double cws in like Finland LOL - spotty production , but that is the Hermes thing - we are artistes not manufacturing engineers

IMHO, the recent production stuff has been the simple designs in each category. I suspect they are trying to keep each production line open - 90cm, std twill, wash, double - but concentrating on the less complicated ones, SINGAPORE has too many colors to be simple - I doubt the full production staff is available yet - that is my manufacturing opinion and also based on French recent political events

This regrettable simplification process has been going on for years. Fewer and fewer colours, less and less shades and shading, the 3D artistic beauty and wealth of (often naturalistic) detail gradually phased out.

A couple of years ago I finally realized that none of the new scarves were half as special as my older scarves.
While each season there is usually one or several scarves I love, I rarely feel these new scarves (for me) are worth the H price.
My bank account has benefited hugely from this realization :cool:.

(However, I am willing to spend my pennies saved if my long desired Holy Grails from years past turn up on the resell market...:P)
