Beautiful presentation! I looked up the vicuña wool and it is a fascinating story and obviously the price is so high because the wool is so rare. They called it the ‘silk of the new world” back in the day because the wool is so warm and fine. You are paying for this rare material. Yes it has a luxury label but I think it’s all about the material with this one. If you love it, buy it.
I buy any high quality cashmere like Burberry or others for the purpose of warmth in winter and it does it’s job for me. Mostly due to wallet size and priorities I personally wouldn’t buy this muffler. But I do get one buying it!! I should at least feel one when I am in the boutique lol

to me it’s all about cost per wear. is it the only thing you’ll wear in winter for the next 10 years? then it’s a steal. however if it competes with 10 csgms and 5 other mufflers, probably you’re not gonna get your money’s worth out of it and i would imagine it being a textile and not looking very unique in design, that it’s not gonna retain its value on the second hand market, so probably not the best investment. but if you love it and you have the cash it’s surely luxurious in its feel and a nice splurge

I am not a fan of the wear of H CS so for me, I would buy this. But if you are more fond of designs and colours I think you would not find this worthwhile. It is amazing material vicuña, so heavenly. Best of luck deciding!:flowers:

Hmm Came out as almost the last one this season ...

There seems to be a marquee design every season, a MUST HAVE for collectors to get them to buy more after early season splurges

SHIRLEY, HENRY and HONORE designs are the most obvious examples of what I call a marquee design also ARTISANS

Hmm where are SHIRLEY and HENRY - gone I suppose ...

I suppose DUO COSMIQUE might be the marquee design - it is lush

Sounds like that is a lot of money for your budget so if you are wildly in love with the item then you should keep it. The fact that you’re asking others to weigh in sounds like you’re not 100% sold on it and are feeling a little guilty. I think the color is nothing special, in fact a little dull and even the design is nothing special either. You asked so personally, I don’t even like it so would not be buying it.

This is ALL about the material. It’s incredible, rare, sumptuous, light, toasty warm….but if it looks to you like another camel/gold cashmere muffler with the Hermes name on it then you might regret the expense.

Wow, you hit the jackpot. I like the one with the coral accents best but all in all, you can't go wrong. This scarf ties so well irrespective of the color. It helps that this is a complex design, it increases the potential for adding different colors. The artist that designed (who is that?) it and the person that selects color combos for H scarves really did their job well.
