I was so happy to see DC on the website that I forgot to answer, sorry. "My store", that was "only" 2 hours drive away and the only one in Scotland, was deemed by H no longer needed and is now closed. :crybaby: Next nearest is 5 hours drive :no: So online shopping it is...

I thought of you when the paper tag came off (instead of wrapping vertically on the caretag where you have to rip it off, it was wrapped horizontally and just slid on and off) and then when I saw the loose caretag this morning! The H gods have spoken…

Yes! EXACTLY.. If I hadn't spent so much this season I would have probably gone with at least one more CW of the ZP gt. I even tried the etoupe (again courtesy of @icerovi ) and it was fantastic in a completely different way. The format itself is an equally surprising revelation - lighter and easier to style than I expected!

I can't wait to see which one you choose! (Maybe both? :angel:)

Oh dear! I know the feeling. For me, I have to love or be really interested in the subject matter, as well as the colors, or the colors have to be a really exquisite combination sometimes too if the subject matter isn't really "me". IduR doesn't enthrall me as a design, so I would be no help there. For me to wear something like IduR they'd have to have knocked it out of the park on color composition (which I don't think they did...) I think you have to decide what about IduR keeps you from pulling it out to wear. You like the colors, but do they combine with the design in a wearable way? Also, the deep blue of the cashmere has a different "look" to me than deep blue silk. The navy ZP is very wearable, and I think versatile too, but I wear a LOT of black and dark grey in winter, and with all the black as well as navy on the scarf, it felt like it was getting kind of lost in my wardrobe, and really seems to shine best on a blue shirt. Have you considered the pretty turquoise colorway? Still blues, but more visible on dark clothes?

Otherwise, well, the pink is lovely, and if it is a pink that suits you and fits in your winter wardrobe choices, then pink is a good choice! It's a beautiful warm pink, which I can wear easily and I think can blend with a lot of people's coloring, unlike that pink in the Eleftheria. I would look terrible in that cool pink. (Even though it suits you well!)

Thank you @bunnycat ! I am seriously torn and trying reeeally hard not get both. My problem is much like yours in that my winter wardrobe has a lot of darker colours. And yet the marine cw has been making my heart sing since you first modelled it on here.

IduR is probably a separate issue that I am conflating with the current dilemma. It was the first scarf I purchased in a long time (ha! The gateway scarf) and I got it sight unseen based on my love for the navy, white, and gold combination and a nostalgic fondness for d'Origny designs as they were many of my first purchases. Unfortunately, the love for striped navy and white translates to a multitude of the pieces in my closet as well and that's been making it difficult (though not impossible) to wear. I will just have to try harder!

Considering your wise words (and @Living.la.vida.fifi and @icerovi as well!) I think I have decided to keep the marine gt. It is too beautiful to send back!
