Thank you to everyone who has posted mod shots! As always, I find beauty and inspiration here. I have copied many of you with my fall selections, so please pardon my pictures of scarves already seen here. Yes, Foxytrini and Lanit have influenced me with some of their choices. My apologies for not mentioning all of you lovely posters who also played a huge part in helping me decide on these. Thanks so much for posting. I reserved this along w 10. It is really gorgeous in these colors. I think this cw was one of the irritating head scarf pics on h.com so I couldn’t tell at all how it hung. It looks beautiful around you neck. Are you keeping it?

For those considering the Zebra Pegasus. Here is CW 30 Marine/Blanc/Multi. I think on most of these if you are considering one, focus on the zebra coloring and the feather coloring you like best. The way I wear cashmeres is either cowboy, or bias so mostly what you see are the Zebra and feathers. The marine is what I call navy and is distinct from the black, but still a deep color. like the deep colors (a little out of place with the t-shirt weather!) and so I will ponder whether I should give the pink a try based on what I know, or just let it ride as is.

I do have one small problem on it, that I have to think about. I think this stray strand of fiber got slightly woven in on the back side. I need to put on some magnifiers to see if it is actually attached or just a stray bit that got accidentally woven in before I do anything with it. (If it's a attached, I won't mess with it and this has to go back. If not... we'll see just how good I am with a needle, tweezers and embroidery nippers.)

So I feel like if worn this way, you really see the feathers and the zebra the most and not the base color. True?

The orange Bingata is amazing and probably my fav CW along with the warm earth-toned one, and perfect for you… Grand Theatre is masterful and these CWs are breathtaking

Scarf mail today. Eleftheria, CW15, Vert Vif/Rose/Encre/Multicolore. I'm in the US, so I ordered from a shopping service, and the scarf is still less expensive than a double face scarf directly from Hermes. This scarf is gorgeous. It has been on my wish list since I saw the Greek Special Edition, so I am thrilled to be able to find it.

Field Report from a NJ Boutique! I had last appointment of the day which was to my benefit because they were just unpacking some Fall/Winter silks. Nothing big yet-- some gavs (Eperon and Cavalleria) and some 70s (Tea Time and my little beauty shown below). The very sweet SA showed me everything she expects on the monitor and reserved a few for me. Frustrating that they only had Grand Tralala, Danse Pacifique (but NOT in the cw I wanted to try on!) and Masan et Masan. One Bingata in pink. No twillies yet. I have already all the 90's from the season that I want and am hoping to do my final comparison of Claire de Lune w05 with cw04 next week if she is able to get it for me. The good news is that stock is starting to arrive every day. The very good news for me is that I came away with my top choice 70-- Rendez Vous Chez Hermes in cw10. I adore the "story behind" on this one (having been a student in Paris in the late 70s and done all those student in Paris requisite crazy things) and the details are just charming. Here's a flat shot and a mod shot. I believe that @paula24jen may have this one in the silver hem. I loved that one too but it didn't love me back. For @Nomad and @Snausages-- they will definitely have the Jungle Love Gav and they had one Epopee 70 in store.

Thanks to inspiration from @lanit and @Foxy trini , I went to check out this scarf yesterday. It is different from anything in my collection. I love it. I bought the only one in this cw. Selection in the Madison store was not great; many of the new arrivals had sold. Too many of the new ones available looked too muted on me. Store was not busy so I felt very comfortable. Saw it and tried it on at the store last week and I loved it! They only had one of this CW and it was already chosen by a customer… It is magnificent and wonderful on you! I am also considering it now

I am unsure if it’s @Croisette7 or @Nomad who said this design warrants two colorways - one quiet/calm one and a loud one. Well I was at H today and I tend to agree with that sentiment. I picked up the loud cw10 with its fuschia and green pops. I almost almost got the calmer one cw4 - but my SA steered me away since the etoupe cw8 is already so serene. Also snagged the tea time in red and white. Hopefully the attached pics are helpful to anyone trying to decide. Thanks for letting me share!

Scarf mail! I’ve been anxiously awaiting the L’Epopee 70cm… the orange was the sole colorway on h.com US for what seems like forever (orange is a color I struggle with), then the pink *finally* showed up and I pounced. Good thing: it went quickly though it’s reappeared a couple of times since.
But there was another colorway that appeared as well. I was looking for the blue and white but a different blue colorway showed up. There’s a fair bit of the troublesome orange in it but I figured that returns are possible so why not?
Well, I’m surprising myself by liking the blue maybe better than the pink? It’s a steel blue more than a sky blue and I *love* a good gray blue and mustard yellow to boot!

What a great design! Every CW I’ve seen is great, but I prefer the white to the pink

I just received yesterday my cw 04 of Grand Theatre Nouveau. I’m loving it but must admit seeing @Foxy trini ’s
new bold cw 10, I’m kind of overwhelmed. It’s a real beauty, especially paired with rose. Here are some shots, one showcasing the old rose colors (and magnificent Leo), with onyx and gold necklace, the other showing the stronger rust colors, pairing with an antique silver, marcasite and carnelian pendant. Twins with Croisette and someone else, and sisters with many of you! Many thanks to dear @LKBNOLA for her insights. What do y’all think? I value your input.

Every CW of GT is amazing… every single one! CW4 is gorgeous on you and is the one I finally chose (the first one, that is… LOL). The reason I went with this one is that it’s a departure from what I would normally choose which would have been CW10 which is fantastic. Also, this particular color combo is not typical for me and represented as well in my collection.

@Nomad sorry for the delay, real life won’t let me be a scarf enthusiast full time. Actual scarf of the day and nail polish of the day. Hope this helps you decide!

Second purchase arrived today and I love it. Took a chance on Duo Cosmique CW8. I’m not the best picture taker and it is cloudy. The colors are so much more beautiful in person and the graphics are wonderful. I think I want them all now.

Very interesting that I found this colorway to be more stiff than my Ciel Bleu.
For me this design is a hit. Crazy to admit but now I want the Vieux rose as well…..maybe in the twilly.

As I not so patiently await my SA finding me Grand Theatre Nouveau in CW10, I went ahead and ordered my first AW2021 item...Folklore cashmere/silk giant triangle in CW09, Bleu Dur/blanc/multicolore. I believe it will serve me well, the warmth of a CSGM without the bulk! A few modeling shots to give a sense of the format and colorway. Hopefully I'll be able to post CW10 of GTN soon too!!
