Just some more thoughts on scarves I saw yesterday. PA did not have any Mt zebra or cosmographia. They had a few Act 3 shawls including the navy/pink and blue/grey. I was hoping to try the one @lanit bought, but they had already sold that. I did try the navy/ pink - it reads very dark when worn. With the warm weather, I wasn’t really in the mood for that yesterday. I would need to play with it more to see if I could get more of the lighter colors to appear. I did not even try on the grey/ blue as colors seemed too similar to my grey/ blue Samourais.
This boutique sorts the scarves by color, so I didn’t really look at the drawers with predominately orange, red, brown.
They had several of the jungle love rainbow. I tried on the one with all blues. Very elegant monochromatic look.
With the darker, more subdued colors it felt more like a FW scarf.
There is at least one more CW of the peuple du vent CSGM than we have seen here- sorry, I didn’t get photo.
I forgot to ask about the 70s or the scarf with the palm tree, but didn’t notice any.

Second what your said — I went today. There are no 70s or Index Palmarum yet. They had more CWs of the Acte III, including the red / green one quite similar to the 90cm I have. They did have the Aaargh in several CW. There were several CWs of Jardin de Leïla.

Since we were discussing this — the labels are the big old ones except for the Kachinas. I noticed the Jungle Love in blue had a dark navy label that matched the scarf — I think I haven’t seen that before. I don’t know if the Kachinas / wash scarf labels are going to be the new direction or if they are an exception. I take mine off anyway, so it doesn’t really matter to me.

Welcome! H has 2 major Scarf seasons . SS( spring summer) and FW( fall winter). SS scarves START being available in some stores in early Dec, but some stores not until January. The FW scarves usually start being available in June, but some regions not until July. Not all designs are delivered at once. Some designs aren’t available for several months. Also stores do get multiple shipments, over the 6 month period. Not all stores order the same designs or colorways. Sometimes you will find something in a boutique that was never on the web site. Sometimes thing appear on a website that were never available at your store. H is pretty secretive about how many scarves they make and what the release schedule is. I get the impression that stores don’t always know when or what will be in their next shipment.
Certain “ flagship” stores definitely get more of each item, and more variety. example: Madison Ave in NYC or FSH or Sevres.the FW scarves are just starting both on the web and in stores. There should be better availability in a couple of months. Hope that helps

Ahhh I was so busy trying on things and taking pictures I neglected to check on this. I will try to check if I go back again. When you said last year's shawls, can you give me examples of which ones please?

No worries, I was just curious. :flowers: I wore my Maharani CSGM the other day and I think that's a fairly thick cashmere-silk for H. But when I briefly passed by my new boutique (I'm no longer at the forefront for access to new season goodies because their shipment comes late), I saw SS2019 Les Cabanes but the material felt thinner to me. I hope CSGM shawls for this season are not getting thinner and thinner. :whut:
