I have a question for anyone (and everyone) who cares to answer. Am I the very last person here to notice that on the Men's 140 Silk Mix scarf, all the "people" featured on the scarf are actually horses? I was just, literally, flabbergasted upon looking more closely at it on the website.

You’re not the last person to notice that. I had to take a screenshot and enlarge it before I could see the horses. And this was only after reading your post.

Got a call this week - I’m thrilled that the one scarf remaining on my list arrived and it did not disappoint! I apologize if this has been posted already but this is really a wow for me: Carnival des Oiseaux 140cm in cw04 noir/turquoise/multicolore:

:faint:
So tempted... and I don't even wear 140s... (unsee! )

BTW, this design is listed as a Reissue. When was the first issue?

MightyBigRed, this is so nice of you, thank you very much! I went to my store also the same day and could try the blue Garde Robe but they still don't have the red. However I loved the design based on trying the blue and now thanks to your picture I've decided to get the red one  I asked a friend who is flying through Heathrow today to get it for me so hopefully I can post modeling pix tomorrow! Very excited as I've wanted a red scarf forever. Thank you again!

In the meantime, here are mod shots of the blue Garde Robe Pop and Acte III CSGM in pink/blue in case they help anyone. The latter is beautiful, but I think I might prefer to get a 90 in that color family a few months down the line. The blue Garde Robe is also lovely - the polka dots almost look like stars twinkling in the night sky

Question for everyone here. I love the Kachinas scarf and colorways so much. I have one colorway and my Mom has 2. We live in different states but can share our things. I love so many of the cw’s of Kachinas. How many is too many? Does anyone here have 3 or more from this season or past seasons?
It’s true that the polka dots remind me of stars in the night sky... I love the combo of polka dots and stripes and this is such a great design featuring both elements!

Very excited to share my second F/W scarf: Garde Robe Pop in red! Thank you again to @MightyBigRed for her pictures which helped me decide on this purchase  I was not at all interested in this model until I tried it on (in another cw). To me the profusion of polka dots splashed against the background look like stars twinkling in the sky, and the swirly bits look almost like clouds. So I like to imagine that this scarf is quirky horses in space  The horses are extremely cute. it's fun to try ties until one of them peeks its head out of the folds. I love to wear red accessories with black, navy, white and other neutral outfits, so i can see myself getting a lot of use out of this scarf.
I love it... Great design!

I looked at the Washington's Carriage Detail (wash) last week as well. Resisted as they are too similar to others I already own. (Although that doesn't always put the brakes on.)

So lovely! Very hard to resist

Couldn't resist this beauty, love the seals on the corners of this scarf.

For anyone in London there are seals on the River Thames:

Loving these fabulous graphics!

Popping on a pic of my encre Jardin de Leila for reference. I love this so much I may also get the pink version!
What an amazing shawl!

Any excuse to show off neutral JdL shawl :happydance:
It is fantastic!

I just picked up the Jardin de Leila yesterday, I'm not sure what colorway it is but the border is a coral color... I love it so much, was debating between the ACT 3 in pink / blue and the Maison in cream and white! Maybe those will be my next purchase this is my first CSGM!
I've never been a scarf person other than winter wool / cashmere mufflers the long type with fringe ( what I call scarves) but these CSGMs are so gorgeous I am now converting to a scarf person!
Spectacular! I am in love with this design... You made the right choice.

Quick mod shot of La Cite Cavaliere cw 13, the only one the boutique had today. I'm waiting to see the blue ones!
So in love with this one! Dying to see this CW IRL

Spectacular! This CW and the blue/yellow are the best of this design IMO... Would love to see it modeled.

Is that even a question? I adore Kachinas and own three 90s and gifted my daughter a giant triangle which I’ve borrowed on occasion. I wish I had more and am considering the Kachinas wash. There are many other favorite designs that I own in multiples as well, such as Parures de Samourais of which I own 5 CWs.

How often do they “repeat” parures? I missed out on it and cannot find in-stores...

I also wanted to add that they had a bunch of cws of the maxi twilly slim in Lalbhai and I was both thrilled and saddened. I was thrilled because cw 02 is sooo gorgeous but saddened because I cannot wear that shape at all.
I tried those maxi twilly slim also but the format just doesn't work for me. It's too wide if you don't fold it, but it's not wide enough to fold it once and stay like that. I much prefer the original width where I can fold twice and it stays put.

Lol! That explains why everyone has ponytails.

I know the picture you are referring to regarding CdO, and I agree that scarf looks fabulous in the pink, and in the orange and pink, over a black turtleneck with jeans. I just wish I felt as comfortable (and confident) wearing the women's 140 scarves as I am with the men's 100 scarves. It is so weird! I have no reservation at all wearing either of the two Sweet Dreams men's scarves I have. I love the 100 size of them, which is somehow easier (in a grab and go kind of way) for me than the 140 size. The 100 size (which I think I like even more than the 90 size) and the designs on the men's scarves seem more casual to me, too. Also, with the wool in them, they are super comfy and I gravitate toward them in cooler weather. (And yes, I am eyeing three of the new men's scarves right now, trying not to purchase any of them, either!)

I can understand what you’re saying about the 100s. Could it be also that the colors in the men’s designs tend to be more muted? Maybe that makes them feel easier to wear also? I don’t have to think too hard about choosing bright silks because I wear black most of the time.

I think you are onto something. I do wear a lot of black, too, but I think it makes me more self-conscious about wearing a very bright colorful scarf against that black background, even though I look best in bright colors. Wearing one of the men's scarves somehow makes me feel less noticeable. I have to say that I am very drawn to Silk Mix in Blue Moyen/Marine/Gris Chine, Gris Chine/Anthracite/Orange, and Bordeaux/Noir/Bleu. I love the multicolored version, too, but the natural color in it might not work for me. I never would have made the pony tail connection, so thank you for making it for me. That is hilarious!

So relieved I am not the very last person to notice it! LOL. Just kidding. This unusual aspect to the scarf - the horse people and the oddly shaped bus that wraps around the road in the most impossible way, too, to be honest - make me far more interested in the scarf. I also really like Nothing but a Dreamer, and Aaaaargh!, and Grrrrr! It is tough making selections this season. So many are tempting me.

Just call me “scarf poor” this season. I tend to naturalism in my art preferences so the 09 bleu jean/ works best for enjoying the detail. 07 Gris/ is a close second in the wearing of the look. 08 bordeaux/ is a personal favorite in the wearing but I have prusse in Caducee Rock.

Can someone explain how H gets a “cocaine high” shooting out my tablet every time I look at these rockin’ horses?
