HA - the seals on Pier 39 - that made me LOL!!
Native San Franciscan here so I appreciate this! Grew up in outer Richmond so I heard seals barking at Seal Rock as a kid.
Earlier today I had posted on another thread about how I was going to stay collecting scarves. I only had two... Until tonight when I got surprised with a black CW of the Patisserie scarf!! I've been wanting it since I saw it. I'm a baker by profession and a dessert lover so this is me to a T!
I live in the Marina and can sometimes hear them from Pier 38. I used to love seeing them at Seal Rock when I was a kid!
That reminds me I ought to pay another visit to the seals, and this time with this scarf on.
Great idea - but don't go to Pier 38 - that's what I get for hitting "post" without reading over what I wrote!
I love that Inuit scarf - the first time I saw it it was up on the light box and I thought it was odd. In no small part because the light box is rather high up on the wall and I couldn't really see details. But once I read about the "story" and looked at the details, I was really entranced by it. And those little seals on the border...
I will hopefully be at New Bond St this week. Are there any requests for designs and cws people would like me to try and photo?

If they have the MT Slim H au Galop in red, I would be so grateful for a photo! My store hasn't received that CW yet. Oh, and also the Garde Robe Pop in red? I want a red scarf and those two are my first picks but I haven't seen either one in real life yet.

Very pretty kleider, are you hiding the knot under the triangle folds in the front in the second pic? The cowboy knot is my favorite scarf tying style!
Haha, I figured. At first when I checked the website, I was like I won't be able to pull it off - all the goggles, head pieces, and masks are such strong cultural elements. But when worn it's mostly the graphic patterns and lovely corners
There is no actual knot, and both ends go to the back of the neck and are tucked in. I had a post on IG:
Thanks for sharing kleider, I always find it interesting how we tie our scarves. I've always tied the cowboy knot by crossing the tails in the front then knotting them behind my neck as shown. I'll have to give your method a try!
