Actually California also has a similar climate, so many plants originally from South Africa and Australia are also grown here.Not so exotic for some of us; a lot of that flora is also found in Australia (especially Western Australia), so as an Aussie, the Zebra is the exotic part; many of the plants featured I actually recognised from what is in the average Aussie backyard!(And the Waratah (the flower in the lower left corner) is the State flower of New South Wales, a State of Australia.)
(This revelation is noteworthy because I am notoriously poor at botany so for me to recognise a plant species, it has to literally be growing under my nose. Good at fauna though and Zebras are definitely not native to Australia...which is the excuse I am telling my ‘other half’ for why I have already acquired multiple cws of this design...
)

Ton of scarves finally on the EU website!!! I have been anxiously waiting for Bolduc since I don’t own anything in this design and managed to order 90 x 90 cm plus a matching twilly in Bleu jean/rose vif/anthracite. Will post pics when they arrive (hopefully soon...!)Cosmographia came in the mail today with its glorious pinks, purples and blues. These are my personal favorite, "feel good" colors. The hot pink edges are awesome, too. Seeing all of these waves and boats, exotic animals, and pyramids makes me want to take a vacation, or at least get to the nearest beach.

Hi everyone - Thought you might be interested to see my brand new 140 La Maison Des Carries in a colorway that I have not yet seen. Purchased in Chicago on 06.29.2019. The receipt said "Bougainvill". In any case, it reminded me of my childhood in the 70s! The playful rainbow border against the magenta and tangerine is so evocative of that time. And the cartoonish aspect is just fun. I hope you enjoy!
