So glad, you like them! And am sure that many will! This is exactly why I posted these - and also the close-ups to get the details.

Dear papertiger, you are just tougher than me! Maybe your mod pics will convince me in the end to try once more... :graucho:

That's a great idea to frame the dragon - and certainly unusual! Would love to see it framed! - Yes, another cw could probably help - but frankly, one scarf off my WL is not such a bad idea - there is still more than enough left!

Thank you so much, dear Jbizzy!! :hbeat: Had the same thought - the blues would certainly be more "me" than the bright orange or red...

Oh you are tough(!) but you're fair and favour softer cows, the right shade is going to look fantastic

Was really looking forward to seeing Dragon Flash in person and only able to try the orange and red CW so far:

Seeing it IRL, I have to admit that this cool design is not for me after all. Am just not tough enough for this: ;)

oh dear...I think I am! (Sorry they didn't work for you dear Sammy! But you look so good in your Caduce' Rock! Maybe try the blue CW?)

I understand your feelings about this losange, @Sammy Royal . I am very particular about the dragons that I purchase. I want them to be fierce, but not so fierce that they are scary-fierce. The dragon on this losange seems to sit comfortably right on the thin border between fierce and scary-fierce, but has the added complexity of looking sort of robotic with its metallic grey color. The dragon image is strikingly beautiful and intense, but at the same time this losange was intended for menswear, so the dragon is not at all cute and cuddly in appearance. This Hermes dragon is ready to fight Godzilla and Monster X. So, I understand your dilemma. A fierce woman is going to have the boldness to wear this particular dragon. Perhaps after having an expresso, or some hard liquor, you might view this potential purchase differently? LOL. Just kidding! I am not sure about this losange for myself, either, which is fine, as there are so many other scarves this season that I want to purchase. I reserve the right to change my mind after seeing someone model this scarf here at tPF.

I saw this IRL today at my boutique. Turned it down as there was very little contrast between the tabac background and the ivory of the Inuit "sunglasses" and the other ivory pieces depicted. I love the images because of the link to our Northern peoples (Canadian, eh?) but I thought this cw reads basically brown. My SA is on the lookout for another cw. Incidentally, cw 01 with the emeraude border shown in the booklet was not ordered by Canada (sigh!)
It seems a shame that, with all the brilliant Canadian indigenous artists around, including the Inuit, that they should choose to reissue designs by French artists...he is very good, but I notice that of late, Hermes has been admirable in promoting and honouring individual African artists, and a Maori tattoo artist...maybe they should try the same thing for North American indigenous people, if they are looking for beautiful new designs....artists like Morriseau, and Anarjuat have been at the forefront of a great tradition of painting , printmaking and textiles and they, or other artists in their milieu are perfect for scarf design.

Thank you for believing in me and the dragon! ;)

What a great post, dear BagsRGreat! And I think you are absolutely right: The reason why this dragon might not be mine is that he has this robotic touch... And good idea, too: Will try to see him in a different light after a strong Islay! Thank you soo much! :flowers:
Than you for posting these pictures! I love the red cw. It's definitely going in my collection!
Definitely striking in red! Please share some pics with us once you got it!

I do agree some North American indigenous artist would be amazing. Sadly many of whom come to mind have passed away including Morriseau whose works are fabulous! Hopefully one day H will find an artist, I for one would love to see what they produce!:flowers:

Thank you art nouveau! Well, this really is an option.
I didn't take that into consideration, since a long time ago, I had a very delicate brooch attached to my favorite scarf. After dry cleaning I then had a real hole in this place. Since then I have perhaps become over-cautious. I sure trust your experience and will try very carefully.
Thanks again and have a nice sunday.
... How sharp was the point on the brooch? I think the key to avoiding damage to silk is the use of a very fine sharp needle when sewing

Thank you for your insight. This might be it! I will buy a new one before trying ...
Since I buy a lot of scarves, I still would appreciate very much, if Hermès would consider tags, which their customers wouldn't have to sew on/fix themselves ...

I'm really interested in seeing the new Maxi Twilly Slim format, I wish they would hurry up and release that already! I like my 2 MT Cuts a lot but always feel that they are a tad too short and a tad too wide - sounds like the MT Slim will address both those concerns!
