I was set on getting either the Flamenco or the compact Hammock, but after seeing this bag released I would much rather get this one!! Seems like the most perfect version of the hammock since there’s a zipper, and I love the versatility of ways to be worn. Hoping to get this in Europe later this month, the price is also too good!

I tried it on in the store that day and it's... ok I guess. The bag is quite small but can hold the essentials for sure (including a phone) - given the size I don't think there will be any issues with the loop straps breaking as it's quite impossible to overload the bag. If you do wear it crossbody with the included long and thin strap, you can then play around with the shorter strap as a decorative part of the bag - it already comes with a Loewe dice charm, but you can braid it etc to make it stand out more, or add more dice charms. For a full leather bag the price is really quite good to be honest, though it's leaning more on the understated side of Loewe.

I saw it and really wanted to get it! But I am scared the little loop that holds the strap would break over time; they seem kind of fragile…
That little piece of leather would be an easy fix. I doubt it would break, especially with the size of the bag

If anyone can get mod shots I’d greatly appreciate it Canada has no Loewe stores

I was in the Soho store last week and looked at both the Mini Hammock and the Mini Flamenco. I loved the versatility of the Mini hammock , carrying it crossbody, shoulder and the handheld was adorable pulling both ends together. My concern was the linen lining and how thin the straps were. I ended up with the Mini Flamenco, for $200 more, definitely more substantial. It arrives today so will post pics.

Ah I need to see what fits. I have the mini flamenco too and it’s just a little too small.
I tend towards smaller bags, I’m actually using an LV Multipochette accessoires today. Plus I felt the bigger the Flamenco, the heavier because of the quality of the leather and suede lining

I like the simple beauty of this style, but it also seems like a bag for a younger person. Perhaps because small, simple shoulder bags were in when I was clubbing in my early 20s. I’m only 42, but I can’t shake the feeling that this bag wouldn’t look right for me. Also, while $1,700 seems like a bargain with where designer bag prices have gone lately, we’re still talking almost $2k for not much bag. I laugh when I realize I’ve been brainwashed to think $2k is inexpensive.
