IS GST DIFFICULT TO CARRY W/NARROW SHOULDERS

I am SUPER excited because I located a brand new black GST with ghw at Neiman Marcus in Las Vegas. I JUST received it and it's gorgeous. I have a question though, I carried it around and it seems like it might be a problem as I have very narrow shoulders and it was kind of annoying even after a few minutes. I haven't even removed the film over the hardware or put anything in it. Just wondered if anyone else had this problem?

Try placing the outer strap under the one closest to your body. Then as you stand/walk your elbow kind of holds it in the place. I was going crazy over the strap at first. After some wearing you get the hang of keeping the straps on your shoulder. It a wonderful bag and I haven using it as my everyday workhorse bag for 2 years now. It's kind of sad that Chanel decided to discontinue. Like when they discontinued the east/west flap.

I have the opportunity to get a "new" pre-owned beige Clair Gst with ghw (2011) Plastic still on zipper and grommets. Box, ribbon, dust cover, shopping bag, authentication card. Reputable re-seller. $3500. What do you think? I already have a black with shw.

It depends on if you really want the beige because other seasonal colors are available at Dept stores. ;)

I think the Beige is definitely a classic. Can you negotiate the price at all? Also, I feel like the 2011 may have better quality leather than what they are making these days.

I recently bought a 2009 GST in black caviar with SHW. This seems quite different from the 2012 with ghw that I had last year and let go. I thought I really wanted one of these bags back in my life again - but I'm just not bonding with her! I don't know if it's the chunkier hw, the more boxy feel or the thicker leather, but despite her obvious usefulness the love is not flowing. Has anyone else had this issue, and apart from moving the bag on did you resolve it in any other way? TIA!

The GST was changed in 2010 so there are some differences.

Update: So I pulled out my GST XL after debating selling it and I have refallen in love with it! Not sure what I was thinking, perhaps a moment of temporary insanity and fear of the corners wrinkling eventually. But that is silly and now that we have a tip to iron them back out, I am good to go! Yay!

It s funny. I was looking to sell my GST that I used only once. I thought it is bulky, heavy and I get used to mini bags. But I pulled it out to use for 2 days now and I cant let go. I like it more now. :p I cant believe I almost sell it.

Has anyone else noticed the abundance on GSTs available on internet sales sites? The Superfakes look really good in pictures. As a casual shopper I can't tell the difference. I wanted a Red one but am concerned that I would get a fake. I guess I need a European vacay :smile1: Can you tell the one from Boutique and Replica from net?

Dont buy Puttin On Ayers. I rather to wait for an oppotunity to buy it at the store than buying from the internet wondering if it is real. Hang on, probably one will come by. Just my 2 cents.

Oh I am not buying from these sites. Maybe a trained authenticator can tell the difference but I can't. If I can't get the GST I might get the City Rock. What do you think?
