OoooooK, so after I posted my new purchased of Rodeo Drive Perforated Bag....I saw this thread. Well, at first sight, I don't really like the "holes" on Chanel bag, I think it is so cheap looking and like man's jersey top & pants. You know, guy wears those in gym, park....etc. However, when I carry my new Chanel bag, I fall in love with it.

I don't think the "holes' are ugly anymore, somehow I think they are also "nail" scratches proof.

Just post my modeling pic. for you to get the idea of carrying it. (Sorry, not exactly the bag you are looking for though)

That bag looks absolutely stunning on you! I tried it on in silver. I loved it! I would have gotten it in a heartbeat but I'm trying to save. :push:

For some reason, I like the perforations in the Rodeo Drive ligne, but not perforated classic flaps.

I love the Jumbo, but personally- I do not like perforated. But that's IMO! I've only seen one perf that I liked, and that was a pink flap. HAHA. Big surprise.
I'm sure if you like the pics displayed, you'll like your bag!

I have the red classic flap, to be honest ... perforated is not an everyday bag as its a lambskin if Im not wrong.

Though I dont mind as I love red flaps ... my red perforated, which I bought in April 2007 and used in between my 3 other flaps, the leather messed up a lot around the cornering and its quite darkish at the end.

I was also advised that with perforated, if its refurbish or recolour in the future, the perfo hole which is grey colour will be cover fully with whatever touch up colour chosen, which is sad.

love yours! it looks awesome on you. i guess i just have to see the jumbo flap IRL.....

Yap~~ you bring out the good point. I guess I don't like perforated style in class bags either. :yes:

i spoke to my SA çause he has the blue one on sale now, but he advices me not getting it çause over time, it will be faded, and you will have to redye it, but of course, it achieves the casual look you are looking for.
He also said that others might not notice the fading, but since you are the owner, you can tell the inside and outside colors are different, and it might bug you. Btw, it's calfskin.

yah, i just realised the fading the last 2 weeks .. its kinda powdery fading feeling

Love perforated bags, I think they give a cool, casual, sporty feel. Chanel has been adding perforated for quite a few seasons now, so he must have a thing for the look. Alot of pfrmers bought the DRILL bag and that was perforated. Heres a pic of a different style that I have.

love the one you have...it's casual and classic! did you notice yours fading at all?

I love the Jumbo flap, but I'm not really fond of the perforated style. I have said it many times before and I will say it again:

I'm not gonna walk outside with a big band-aid on my shoulder. Sorry! :shame:

lol....well we'll have to see if the band-aid on my shoulder will fix the pain of not being able to afford the classic jumbo flap in caviar...this bag will do for now i guess....;)
