Did anyone else happen to notice the price is $485? I hope that's only for this special issue, and not the sign of an overall price increase. OR, it might be the price in Canadian dollars. But, that would be $355 USD. :confused1:

It is Canadian dollars.[/QUOTE]

Although in Canadian dollars, need to keep in mind that Canada has "equivalent to VAT" taxes (& no detaxe system available) that range from 5 to 18% or higher depending on the city where the H-boutique is located -so taxes can pretty much wipe out the FX benefits if you're in a position to consider x-border shopping.

Wow, I would love to see the Liberty of London 1967 Centenary scarf. I was a little girl of 8 years old then (Hermes was still a long way into my future) and went to Expo 67. This world exhibition showed me the worldat that time (abet limited to the time before the internet and action cams - LOL) and inspired in me an enduring love of travel.

For you ;)

Like AS' for Hermes, it tries to marry flora of all seasons. Very much of its mid-60s time and echos Accornero's work (for Gucci). I absolutely cannot wait to see Shirley's scarf, this new one could be my favourite (was wearing AS' Appaloosa today, every one's my favourite ha ha)

Ooh, new season, new scarves! It's so exciting! But I inevitably have the same reaction to initial press photos, which is "whew, my wallet is safe this season." Then mod pics start trickling in and I'm all like, "TAKE MAH MONEY, PLEASE!"
I can't wait to ride that merry-go-round again this season.

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Too funny!

My last scarf purchase, with taxes in Ontario, came to CDN$548.60. Canada does not 'refund' taxes when you depart the country.

The scarf to the left of the Super H with UFOs is the new Alice Shirley scarf called "Into the Canadian Wild". It features plants & animals of Canada's Western Prairies and BC rainforest & Canadian North (e.g. it has narwhals, snowy owls and orcas, etc.). Special colourway will be released in June in celebration of Canada's 150th birthday July 1st. A must for all Canadian H-scarf lovers.
Wow thank you for sharing this! What a beautiful design and amazing way to commemorate my country's 150th!

Wow. Thanks so much,Paper Tiger, for posting - the scarf is beautiful . The flowers depicted are the provincial flowers along with the provincial crests.& of course Canadian maple leafs - our "national symbol- thrown in for good measure.

I will just attach the picture here for better reference. Thank you for the link.

Oooooooh I like this!! Thanks for sharing! I did a show and tell on Canadian animals in grade 2 :D

I wonder if there are other colorways??! So far there are two colours: blue/green as shown on G&M, then the pinkish one exhibited... Someone mentioned one is exclusive to Canada?
