That wallpaper is TDF!
Thank you so much. I was very lucky - gifted it by a friend who had some leftover. Normally I'd feel kind of weird with the same wallpaper, but she offered and was leaving her apartment anyway.

I just love the design and the woman behind it - an Australian designer who was born in 1899(!) and her archives were brought back and are sold today.

Amazing!
Lucky you!
Can I ask her name?

Of course! it's Florence Broadhurst. You can see more here in the wallpaper section. The pattern I have is called Egrets.

and their Insta is quite beautiful too!

Now I'm looking and it's making me want to paper more walls! But I'm pretty sure my DH wouldn't go for it. The closet is 'my' room and I have carte blanche to do what I want.

Most of my wardrobe is black, grey or navy. I picked up this gorgeous Etude pour une Parure de Gala Scarf and it complements my entire wardrobe! View attachment 3932680

We are scarf twins! This scarf really does go with everything. I normally buy colorful CWs but just couldn't help myself with this one because it's so beautiful worn. Took the plunge with a black scarf and I couldn't be happier:smile: I reach for this one a lot!

It’s really versatile isn’t it? And I find I very striking.

You have one of the scarves I want really badly – Into the Canadian Wild. I’m a Canuck and was hoping to get one during the holidays in Toronto but we ended up getting sick [emoji40] and just sleeping.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that you were sick during your vacation, so many people were this holiday season! You can still get your hands on Into the Canadian Wild scarves now, but I guess you were hoping to buy a Canadian scarf in Canada? I can understand that. I tried to get the Canadian exclusive CW in Calgary back in August but they were all sold out loooong before then

That is exactly what I was hoping to do! [emoji4]

OMG
All of them TDF. I am in trouble.
We are renovating the house...and I can do what I want...wherever I want.

Dear Eagle, if you're talking about this CW, hey, we think alike! I tried it in store.

I was a bit hesitant to try it when I saw it flat because I tend to look sallow when I wear so much dark colors around my face, but somehow something in this scarf got me very curious about how it would tie. The mix of gray (more like etain) and different warmth of browns together for such a modern design gives it a lot of potential. SA and I paired it with this jacket and it's unbelievably elegant. It is amazing tied!

It's either this one or the almond green one (or both) that is / are going home with me. And it might work as my power scarf at some point paired with some crisp, structural, light but sharp colored outfits. It looks wisely serious with a jacket like that. I didn't take photo that day as I was a bit in a hurry. But I definitely endorse this CW.

The Jige in this photo is in swift and grizzly glycine. I think it will go very well with many scarves from this season.

Patterns come and go , but this is a look that says it all for me . I love minimalisist dressing , but that doesn't always sit right with H silks.
Your photo really captures that elusive chicness and poise .
I hope you've been loving wearing it, I'm bored with the current season and so started backtracking .
Unlike most I loved AW 2017.
