I, personally, think Hermes did itself a disservice with this colorway on the website. It looks pale, washed out, and icy; perfect for a cool blonde, which I'm not. Then I saw "apassionforelegance's" photos on her blog and my jaw dropped! These are warmer, muddier pastels! My colors! Here is my "Into the Canadian Wild" in rose/vert/jaune.
I agree! The H website doesn't do it justice. This is a wonderful cw to have!

So obsessed with this scarf! Had to share another photo [emoji4]View attachment 3881630

Oh, this looks so much better in your photos than it does on the H website! And the colors really suit you!

Totally agree. Anyway, we're not even at Christmas, ITCW is the perfect winter scarf.

This cw really impressed me, as did the pink Flowers of SA that @Croisette7 @FrenchSandra and perhaps others have fallen for, and for me the lilac/turquoise version too which loved me back (but I go through phases with turquoise).

Although I didn't buy any of these (which I shall prob regret) I find them interesting in a good way and a new direction for H. I see this as part of a tough-pastel trend (hair, coats, boots etc). They are not conservative pastels. I see lots more pastels in the SS18 (these look like they'll be too pale for me and more typical) but these current Fall scarves mix strong and soft - very unusual, very strong. I may get one yet.

I agree this Fall has been very strong. I'm glad I was on Ban Island last year.

I had no interest in FOSA flat, even in those gorgeous strong pastel colorways, but seeing it tied around several lovely necks on this thread, I am reconsidering. It ties so well!

And, yes, I'm so glad to see a tough-pastel trend, as you so perfectly put it! These suit me and I buy my scarves to wear!

"Tough-pastel trend"... I love this!!! The December Vogue just arrived, and I was planning to curl up with it tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon once I'm done with the New York Times crossword puzzle; I'm going to keep my eyes carefully peeled for examples of this trend!
