Hello PoeticL! Your Horsawards is stunning, congratulations! I have it in the jade cw and love it to bits. I find it funny that the one I bought in France was called The Horsawards but here in the UK it is The Horscars. I guess the pun didn't translate.

Anyway, some may have noticed I was a real muppet today and posted my two latest AW17 additions on SOTD. Duh. Obviously been out of it for too long. So, without further ado, here, on the right thread, are my new Space Shopping and Canadian Wild which my kind SA has kept aside for me until I got back. The Canadian Wild will be an incredible autumn scarf. Excuse them being lain out over my most unattractive office floor. Mod shots will follow in due course! [emoji3]

Hello everyone. I'm a new member (though I've been reading some of the Hermes threads for a while now). I wasn't really sure what the right way to introduce myself is, so I thought best to plunge into this thread. Hope it's all right.

I had a couple of vintage Hermes scarves handed down to me by a relative, but this year I've actually made my very first Hermes purchase. The design I really wanted Space Shopping au Fauborg as I am a huge fantasy and sci-fi fan and the quirky super-horse appealed to me. But it turns out it's a very popular design and was sold out everywhere I looked. So, I went for a Horsawards in the orange/blue cw. The SA who helped me pick it out said that, when tied, this most closely resembled the Space Shopping scarf cw that I wanted.
Space shopping is still available in multiple color ways on the Hermes US website.

So gorgeous Croisette! I saw it displayed at my boutique last time I was there and just had to try it on, it's really beautiful! Has such a chic vibe in my opinion. H should consider using more black in their (men's) collection, next to all those variations of blue and gray.

Love it Croisette. Grey, black and navy - what a killer combination.
Thank you both, Angelian & Pautinka. The bordeaux one is beautiful as well.

This is a stellar first purchase, and I, like frou frou, have found this design my favorite of the season. I have it in jaune soufre and I've been delighted with how much more versatile it is than I expected.

I love how it sneaks up on people, especially at work: they take it for an elegant toile, and then after I talk to someone for a while, I catch them looking more closely out of the corner of their eye, and some end up outright staring and sometimes asking about it. It strikes me as more subtle than Space Shopping, though it may be more immediately eye-catching in your CW. I hope you love it. It looks outstanding in your modeling pic.
