Dear Croisette, gorgeous styling!! So glad that we're twins on this one. This CW is surprisingly very easy to wear on the cooler days in late Summer.

It's an exquisite colour combo, cavalla! So nice we're twins again!

It's spectacular in person. Until recently (had twins!) we summered there every year. In the photo of the gardens you can see elements of the scarf.

I purchased this scarf because I was actually there in Portugal. The entire Sintra municipal is fantastic. All the flora in the region are quite special, spanning from the Pena Palace to the Cabo da Roca (most occidental point in Europe). I had the chance to drive through all of Portugal and it really gave me more appreciation for the scarf.

This week I had a cheeky day trip to Lille, France thanks to the Eurostar from London. Of course I had to check out the Hermès shop there. Although knew I would not buy as the exchange rate of the £ against the Euro is so poor now. I asked to see what colours they had of Horsawards, I liked the green one best.

The sales assistant was charming, even though I was not buying! I can recommend the Lille Hermès, if you are in London for a while it's easy to get there!

They had some nice cashmere.

They had lots of different colourways of the Alice Shirley Canada scarf but in my excitement I forgot to take pics. Amazing how different this design looks depending on the colours. I liked the one where the animals are grey, they show up best.

I've tried it on a few times and taken a few photos; first the label fell off and now the care tag is coming off ..hope that's not a bad sign !
I adore the colour way ,I was feeling 'green' and, although lilac ain't my favourite colour, the way it is paired with black, brown, pale blue ,lemon and green is IMO genius.
It goes with everything I wear: black, grey, white, cream, army green, navy and even light blue and denim.
I'll post a photo of the scarf alongside these colours later .

This is so gorgeous! What a great find for you, frou frou. By the way, the first time I wore my giant silk Parures Precieuses, the care tag fell halfway off. What's up with that?

I would not let this beauty left behind. It's not my normal choice of design. But it looks so great when you wear it. Amazing! Now I am tempted.
